Very nice place to camp. Views of the Harlan County reservoir are beautiful. The sites are large and easy to back into. Grass was mowed up nicely, and new wood on the picnic tables was a plus. The camp host is wonderful to work with and always checking on things. Great place for families, kids, and dogs. Lots of dogs but hardly ever hear barking. Only draw back is the pea gravel parking, it comes in on your shoes to the camper, but we just took shoes off, no big deal.. great 10 days, with full hook ups…

This campground is very logically and nicely laid out, with nice good space between sites. Wonderful view of the lake. The host was friendly and helpful and the restroom/shower facilities fairly clean. My only negative was at my non-electric site was strewn with cigarette butts. Why do smokers think that leaving their butts around is OK and not littering?

The 6 pm check-in is a huge negative. That said, we arrived early and had no problem getting on the site, as it was empty.
