Boulder Beach Campground

Very nice campground, clean, great view of the lake! and yes if you were wondering the beach is made up of small boulders.

This is probably the nicest campground we’ve ever visited. It is landscaped, clean, and set along the shores of Lake Mead. The lake is plainly visible from most sites, due to the rising elevation. Everything here exists on its own scale: as seen from a Hoover Dam viewing point the park is barely visible, although it is a short drive away; the campground itself is rather large and two “neighborhoods”; the nearby boat ramp changes elevation quickly but is as broad and wide as a multi-lane highway; you will feel as you are parked along the lakeshore, but there is, perhaps a half mile of sand to drive past to get there; your view of the lake is about six-miles wide.

In April, on a Sunday to Wednesday, the “light duty” side of the campground was mostly empty but full enough to feel friendly. The RV side was rather full.

I tent camped here with my two teen age kids for seven days. The views from our campsite were fantastic. Tracy the campground host is sweet, friendly and caring. She made our stay extra special by checking on us while staying here. Everything at the campground was clean and we felt safe at all times. Thank you Lake Mead Staff members and specially thank you Tracy for making our visit to the park extra special. We love you and can't wait to see you again next year. ❤️

Beautiful campground overlooking Lake Mead. Level concrete pads. Concrete picnic table. Fire pit grill combo. We'll spaced out. Amphitheater has the best viewing. Miles of trails
Eucalyptus trees, pines and native floral. Lots of Quail and coyotes howling in the night. Top 5 on my list. Wished they would extend the 30 day limit. Dump station, trash and multiple water spigots throughout. Love this place!

Campsites were reasonably priced. Bathrooms were very clean but no handsoap, so just bring your own. There was trash around our site but overall clean. Neighbors were great at shutting down their generators at the quiet hours (10pm). Had a lovely time overall!
