The road to get here is treacherous. Very rough, a mix of asphalt, dirt, and rocks. They say you can take an RV, but you need a 4-wheel drive truck and an hour and a half going really slow in and out. Plus, everything gets shaken up!

The swimming area was great. We enjoyed that. The RV spots aren’t really spots, but an open field and pull offs.

If you may need access to medical care this is far too remote for safety.

If you can get there, this place is awesome! An oasis of trees and wildlife in the desert. Cabins are clean and simple. Great place to stay for hikers, off-roaders, campers. I've stayed here before and I'll definitely stay here again.

While it's a difficult drive to the Aravada Springs ranch (about 20 miles of careful maneuvering over extremely torn up asphalt at speeds of 15 to 20 mph), once you're there, everything is wonderful at this stunningly isolated and magnificent corner of the Southwest. The views are spectacular, the hosts very friendly and helpful, the cabins comfortable (as long as you remember to bring bed linens or sleeping bags, bathroom towels, and plenty to eat and drink during your stay). We hope to come back.

This was my first time visiting Aravada Springs, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I arrived, I was taken back by how peaceful and beautiful it is out there—truly a hidden desert oasis away from it all. The landscape has this quiet charm that makes you want to slow down and just take it all in.

My daughter absolutely loved feeding the animals at the petting zoo, watching the deer roam freely, playing games and puzzles in the Rock House, swimming in the pool, and taking a horse carriage ride along the trails. It felt like family time, the way it’s meant to be: unplugged, relaxed, and surrounded by nature.

The cabins and grounds were clean and well cared for, and it’s clear that a lot of love and history are tied to the place. It felt safe, welcoming, and tucked away in the best way. I spent time walking around, exploring, and soaking in the sunrise and sunset views. There’s something about the stillness of that desert air that stays with you.

It’s a genuinely beautiful and calm atmosphere, and I’m already looking forward to returning and making it a tradition for years to come. Thank YOU, Aravada Springs, for having me and my family!

We stayed in the Cabins without attached bathrooms. The cabins where just as we expected from the reservation! That's always a plus. The camp host EJ is amazing! SO Friendly and helpful - even when we woke him up with our 11pm arrival!

The whole place is incredibly beautiful! Very relaxing and peaceful. We used it as a launch spot for an Overland Adventure in the Parashant and it was great for that.

We definitely want to go back and just enjoy the grounds for a weekend.

highly recommend if you want a desert mountain getaway closer to the Vegas area!
