I don't know if Hannah was having a bad day or what, but I didn't deserve the treatment she felt I deserved!! I ordered two dinners to go on Saturday night, ( and tipped her and the gentleman cashier each 5$). After a really long day, I got home to Dayton, only to find that the Ribeye in one of my dinners was not in my bags. I had checked them in the parking lot but I figured the box labeled loaded potatoes also had the Ribeye that was ordered, and paid for in it. It was not, the other Salmon dinner was perfect. Living in Dayton I had to plan a trip back to Carson on Sunday to get the steak I had already paid for. I have been in the restaraunt and bar business for 40+ years and know this simple mistake can be rectified. Not according to Hannah!! She flat told me everything was good on her end the evening before and had I showed up earlier than 23 hours later maybe she could have done something for me!! Wrong answer! I immediately found Greg, your MOD, and he proceeded to help me get another steak. Seriously, THANK YOU! But I have to say, Hannah seemed to take it personally and tried to ignore me and couldn't even apologize. I didn't do anything wrong until she pissed me off in front of other customers and embarrassed me. All she had to do was say she was sorry and make me feel like she would at least try and fix the mistake. I didn't call her a B...., I told her she was acting like one. I am sure your MOD can vouch for her dissrespect and her unwillingness to help me. I am a regular at GDW, as I was in Elko as well, and can honestly say I have never been treated by an employee as poorly as I was tonight. Feel free to call me anytime. Thank you, Zona Mlakar

We are very disappointed. We stayed here with 2 children for two nights. The hallways were with an incredibly strong smell of cigarette smoke.
Room: it was clean, and the bathroom had been renovated. That is where the positives ended.
The room completely lacked ventilation, and the air conditioning functioned strangely. There was absolutely no soundproofing; we could hear everything happening in the adjacent room—right down to the opening of the bathroom door and people talking. The beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were terrible; we all woke up with neck pain. We do not recommend staying here for a family vacation.

One of the best casinos I've personally ever visited extremely friendly staffed. Machines the, food inside is to die for just do everybody plus you a favor and just follow the rules cause. Nobody wants a mad customer and no one wants to be banned for acting stupid

I've been a happy customer of Gold dust West at more than one location including here in Carson and Rena. I have had more meals than I can count with my noun dearly. Deceased heavenly Father. I have memories in this place that I cannot begin to explain, and I have as I said loved and appreciate it since childhood. They are still everything they were before, even though certain things that were very true to their historic nature they can no longer sustain due to supply and demand problems. Nonetheless, wonderful place to be spend time or stay.

Stayed here for three nights. The bed was very firm and not my preference but the rooms were clean and had all the basic amenities besides lotion which I needed lol. I loved they offered free breakfast in the restaurant! Would for sure stay again.
