Campground hosts did the best job of maintaining the site that I have ever seen. Five stars for that . The only negative was the blue-green algae bloom so I didn’t stay as long as I planned due to having dogs with me.

Excellent, campsites, location is easy to get to, and not far at all from the backside of South Lake Tahoe, restrooms and showers just awesome, and some great hiking trails too. Highly recommend this campground.

Camping experience was very good, staff did a great job of maintaining the grounds and restrooms. The only down side was the RV dump station was closed, it was so convenient in previous trips to be able to dump before heading home. I know others have abused the station in previous years, but the policy of locking the gate seemed to stop the abuse. BLM needs to reopen the dump station.

The campground and amenities were amazing, but the best part was how accommodating and friendly the hosts were. We will be coming back to this place in the future.

I would love to write a review!
This was the only campground I've *ever* been in where the host swept our spot, it felt like I stepped into a little zen sand garden that had been carefully pruned free of leaves before we arrived. I felt so welcomed because of this gesture, especially arriving late at night with my headlamp, I at once knew that the we were expected. It was the last weekend in the season and quite empty.
The host was *amazing*. I've probably camped at 30 different parks. Thank you! Also don't forget to check out the hotsprings nearby.

A little out of the way, but secluded and quiet next to a lake. The campsites are reasonably large and far apart. The facilities including shower are in good shape.
