Hitchin' Post RV Park & Motel

As a person new to traveling with a 32 ft travel trailer, consistently making sure I can fit where I can.

I have to say the Hitching Post RV was the best - easy access from the Interstate and getting into the park. Of course being a new ie, they are accommodating when needed a pull thru, cause I'm not great at backing up yet. As a woman, the location is very safe and secure. And lastly the folks that run the place are amazing!!

They only things tho, wish the restaurant was open.

I regret having to post my first negative RV review. We had a good experience here once before, but this time we were treated poorly by the female who checked us in. After traveling all day to visit my mom, who is in bad shape in a nursing home, we set up our 5th wheel in 100 degrees. Unfortunately, the property’s water spigot wasn’t working. It was leaking profusely. Our equipment was working fine. My husband is an engineer and experienced RVr. No maintenance personnel on site and the front desk person insisted on seeing it for herself. She was friendly at check in, but snapped into hysterical mode in an instant. She drove off in her golf cart like a crazy person because her hands got slightly wet. We were polite the entire time. We were the ones inconvenienced. I missed precious time with my mom because we had to pack up and move sites. There was never an apology on her part. We understand the water problem was out of her control, but her reaction is totally on her. She just kept demanding we move sites like we were toddlers. Outrageous and we won’t be back.

We pulled in for a two-night stay in the RV Park, full hookups were great prices were great the park was very calm we had no issues with noise or disturbances. Also it's not a bad drive from the strip we actually enjoyed that it was on the outer parts of the tourism area, Michael and his team were amazing and overall the whole day was great! We enjoyed that the entrance to the park was gate controlled that provided the reassurance of security as well. The pull through site was more than big enough to accommodate our fifth wheel, dually, and my vehicle.

We were passing through and wanted to see the fighters flying over. It was the 1st RV park that came up for our location. The front desk person was awesome to deal with and very knowledgeable. His directions and info were spot on. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The showers and bathrooms were clean. Our site was level, and hook ups worked as they should as well. Thank you for the great experience.

Hitch’in Post RV Park has retained one of the most important factors in customer service and that is one-on-one personable, exceptional and friendly service. The RV park, office, laundry room, bathroom and showers, pet facilities (including free pet wash) are super clean. The pool is open 10AM- 4PM and heated! The staff and long term residents are friendly and helpful at every moment if you need it. The RV park is in an older part of Las Vegas but security is exceptional. If you are an aviation buff, being close to Nellis Airforce base you are guaranteed a free airshow.
