We mostly camp in the wild, either out bike packing or traveling with our truck camper. We choose places off the beaten track, where there are few-to-no other people. In Las Vegas, there's only this one campground near Red Rock Canyon and town (except for actual RV campgrounds). It's fine, as far as campgrounds go. It gets crowded, with people pulling in at all hours, which means headlights into the late night. There's generator noise, people talking loudly, dogs barking, i.e., all the factors we do our best to avoid. The host is nice, there are bathrooms, and there's running water--all nice, but we never feel a need for these. Overall it's a fine experience. For an urban campground.

Not allowed to fill water into RV’s or Van Campers. Nothing about this mentioned on the website, that does mention that water is available on site. We have no gravity fill option on our class B+ RV, which makes it impossible to get water into our tank that we had planned on refilling on arrival “per water available on site”.
The camp host suggested water fill option at the Chevron station nearby. This is not an option as the water spigot is covered by a licked compartment and the stations service attendant does not have a key or know it’s location.
We managed by the water we had on arrival, but barely.

Camp host was THE BEST I have ever encountered. It was a woman, I wish I had gotten her name.
The campground is incredibly poorly marked requiring multiple drive bys and dangerous u turns on the main road. Actually it is not marked at all. So by the time I arrived I was in a very very bad mood. But the camp host agreed about the lack of signage and was so nice that it made me chill out.
The campground itself has the privacy and charm of a parking lot but the location near town is nice. When driving out early the following morning the red rock canyon was very beautiful.
