Red Rock Campground is not a bad spot for camping if you are looking for a quick spot to stop for the night. There are many hikes around but most if not all require leaving the campground to get to them. Restrooms were clean and stocked but very hot. We are planning on staying at this campground again in a few weeks.

Nice, clean, basic campground. I stayed here Mon-Thr, so it was nice and quiet. I booked this site because it has a shelter and is close to the restroom. :) I wish they would put shelters at all the sites. It's very hot out here.

The Red Rock Canyon campground is located at 3293 Moenkopi Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89161. To get there from Clark County 215 Beltway west, take the Charleston Blvd. exit (exit #26) and head west. Drive 3.5 miles to Moenkopi Rd. Turn south on Moenkopi Rd. and drive for a mile (past the BLM Fire Station).
