It's the desert. It's hard to have any privacy when there are no trees to hide you from fellow campers. However, the sites were spread out far enough that you were not right on top of other people.
Conditions at the sites were great. We had a site with a shade tent and that was helpful. The bathrooms were well maintained and ample. Roads were easy to get around on. The firepits were in good shape and our site had some seating around the pit.
Easy access to conservation area and close to food, gas, etc.

This is a spacious campground conveniently located for Red Rock Canyon and various hiking areas. Clean facilities and friendly, easygoing hosts. It gets busy and early booking is recommended. There is no natural shade or shelter and it can get a bit dusty. Grocery stores (Albertson) & gas station within 10 min drive at Summerlin.
