Let me start off by saying this place is beautiful.šŸ˜ Before deciding to go with my daughters, I checked the prices online. Altogether, I saw it would be $60, and when we arrived, I noticed the sign at the entrance displayed the same price.
We were greeted by a young lady who was extremely nice, personable, and informative. While I was signing the waiver, she asked if the kids were my daughters, and I said yes. She replied, ā€œOh, perfect — you get the Mother’s Day discount.ā€ Immediately after, an older woman with sleeve tattoos stepped in and said, ā€œThat will be $60.ā€ The younger employee tried to play it off by saying, ā€œOh, that’s the best price I’ve seen all day,ā€ but I had already done my research beforehand, so I knew that wasn’t true.

We were also told not to play music too loudly so it wouldn’t disturb others, but once we got closer to the water, there was already loud music blasting. Even if I had brought a speaker, our music would have been drowned out anyway.

I’m not really sure what the issue was with the older woman, but her energy felt off from the start. Was the price worth it? Not really. However, I would still recommend it as a one-time experience if you don’t mind the drive and spending the money. I was surprised that, even on Mother’s Day weekend, there was still plenty of seating available, which was nice. We also saw a snapping turtle in the water, which was really cool.

Lastly, I don’t know the name of the young lady who helped me with the waiver, but thank you for your great customer service. That kind of kindness and professionalism is rare these days, and it definitely stood out šŸ’›

We really enjoyed our stay at this unique campground.

The park itself is seasonal for RVs, and we were lucky enough to secure a spot before they officially opened to the public for spring. It felt like a special little preview of the season.

The staff and owners were wonderful. Don and Kyle were incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the experience their guests have.

The grounds were impeccably maintained, and it’s clear there’s a lot of pride put into this place.

I especially loved all of the quirky decorations scattered throughout the property. They add such a fun, whimsical, and joyful character to the campground.

The river running through the property adds another layer of charm and uniqueness. It creates a peaceful atmosphere and makes the whole setting feel even more special.

Overall, this campground has a personality all its own, and we’re really glad we got the chance to stay here.

We would absolutely love to come back.

A place where, for $25/person, you have access to bbq area & the section of Muddy River that flows through the property. The river is the highlight. They have easy access stairs to get in/out at several spots. The water is cool, has step waterfalls that you can flow over and best of all it is shaded naturally with the towering trees. BRING AN INNERTUBE or something to float on and your own food/drinks. Some spots have a gazebo & some do not but you can bring your own umbrella (and music). Truly a hidden gem!

Definitely worth the day trip! Another hidden gem only 1 hour away from Las Vegas off the beaten path. We enjoyed the scenic beauty, peaceful downtime, soothing sound of flowing water, a great spot for a quick getaway!

The water is its best feature, at a pleasant temperature all year round it's a great time to swim in the river. They have lots of shaded picnic tables and BBQ grills, flush toilet and shower.

We're coming back! 😊 Hopefully they keep this place peaceful and enjoyable for relaxing and quality time.

It would be best to put back the NO LOUD NOISE/MUSIC Rule.
