The camp host was extremely rude and unprofessional. I don’t think going around yelling at the campers makes for a good experience. Or screaming at the top of her lungs through the entire camp site the quiet hours, when it was an hour away from quiet time.

We have been traveling most all summer and needed a cooler place for a couple of weeks. We chose Angel Lake Campground in Nevada. It’s over 7000 feet and it has a wonderful small lake. Several of the sites are first come first serve and most are fairly level. Most days there are boards and kayaks on the lake, along with fisherman.
The bathrooms were well maintained by Deborah, the campground host. She did a fantastic job.
The only downfall to this campground it is at the top of a pretty high mountain road that has no guard rails. Seriously take it slow up and down.

Take Interstate 80 to the West Wells exit. Turn south on Angel Lake Road (State Route 231) and travel 12 miles to the end of the road at Angel Lake.
Access to Angel Lake is via Interstate 80, which is approximately 12 miles from the campground via State Route 231 (Angel Lake Road).
