Everything about my experience at Suncook was a dream! They have a little bit of everything from vintage RV’s, modern RV’s, glamping domes, glamping tents, and spots to bring your own! The river is beautiful, there was morning yoga, and a big community fire pit which I highly recommend visiting! They had activities set up for the kids, a playground, pool, sauna, bounce house, just everything you could need. And the showers/bathrooms are clean, luxurious, and readily accessible from the camp sites. If you’re looking for a glamping experience in NH this is the place to go.

I stayed in the Retro Green Camper! I've never been camping, or glamping before. I saw Suncook last year and decided I'd try for this spring!

So the Camper: AC, Lights, mini fridge, a cozy nook for sitting and a very comfy bed, blackout curtains as well as a propane stove and everything you'd need to cook!

The camp: I'm kind of beyond words here. Camp feels like when you're a kid again and it's okay if you don't know how to light a fire, start a grill or need help. The staff were so kind and helped with social anxiety, campers and other employees made a point to make me feel welcome and the grounds are immaculately kept in a homey kind of way.

If you ever wanted to go camping but couldn't, Suncook makes it possible to do that with some supports. I'd highly suggest this spot for LGBT+ folks, neurodivergent people, first timers, and anyone who feels like camping is too scary. It doesn't have to be!

This is one of the places I've been that feels genuinely safe with enough room to explore and come out of your shell.

Thanks Joe, Kim and everyone else! Looking forward to camping again.

I cannot say enough about this place. We went last summer and were blown away by the hospitality of the staff. They really went the extra step to help you feel comfortable and attend to your needs. Our compressor actually died and they blew up our unit addle boards for us. They hosted movie night on a big blow up screen, did a massive communal fire, had cheeseburgers and dogs on the grill for lunch for anyone who wanted to buy them. I’ve camped all across the Country and the bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve ever experienced. The owners are seriously some of the nicest coolest people you’ll ever meet and their staff was clearly cared for as well because they were upbeat, kind and personable. It’s not a huge place but the sites are clean and well maintained… the river is absolutely divine to float down and they provide tubes and kayaks if needed. Overall an incredible experience and coming back this year. Kid friendly and the pride flag 🏳️‍🌈 told us this was a safe place to visit. Highly Recommend!

Just a short distance from greater Boston, Suncook River Campground is now our preferred getaway. You can choose from a variety of outfitted vintage RVs, glamping domes, yurt-style tents, or a BYO tent site.

We stayed in one of the yurt/bell tents which had a queen bed, cots available for anyone with extra little ones, a faux wood stove space heater, and a lamp with shelves. We were very comfortable. The owners really thought of everything—they even provided a kettle and two mugs with pour-over coffee packets.

Outside the tent we had our own little camp porch and picnic table. It was nice to set up in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the river. While we also had a fire pit, we were at the campground with friends so usually went to others’.

You can purchase firewood and ice right at the camp, make use of kayaks and tubes for the river, and enjoy whatever occasional activities the owners have cooked up. We recently went up in the daytime to sample a bbq competition when we weren’t camping. There are also real showers and bathrooms. This place is a real gem!

My wife and I definitely enjoyed the weekend adventure of staying in a dome tent. The view by the river when waking up was pretty.

I think what really pushes this campground up and above is their service and their willingness to take care of their guests. From answering any questions or having ice or firewood delivered to your site by their golf cart and all by texting them.

We recommend.
