What Guests Are Saying
Twin Mountain Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting, particularly near the river, making it ideal for relaxed camping experiences. Guests appreciate the convenience of the on-site store and the excellent pizzeria, along with free hot showers and a rustic atmosphere. However, some have reported challenges with communication regarding reservations and issues with the trash receptacles, suggesting that improvements in staff availability and rule enforcement could enhance the experience.

We tent camped here over the weekend and had an awesome time! Don’t let the negative reviews scare you off — this place is easy to book, beautiful, and super low key. If you’re a responsible group that can respect quiet hours, you’ll have no issues.
We stayed at site 42 which is peaceful being right on the little river, and it was such a bonus having a little on-site store with firewood, coffee, and ice. The pizzeria on property was excellent — perfect for a laid-back dinner after a long day outside. Free hot showers were another big plus!
There’s minimal supervision, which we actually liked because it made things feel relaxed and self-sufficient. Overall, it’s a great spot for chill, respectful campers. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely campground, lovely setting, rustic. Staff was nice but not always available. Was not a fan of the pizza at the restaurant. No laundry facility available.

Stayed two nights at Riverside site 35 and 36 gorgeous views love the sound of the water. Perfect location between Mount Washington for climbing and adventures and Bethlehem for restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

I reserved a campsite here for two night but figured out a few weeks in advance that I could not stay the second night. I informed the campground, in advance, that I would need to cancel the second night. I also asked if it would be possible to charge my electric vehicle at my campsite, which had electric. I told them that if I could not do so I would need to cancel the trip. I never heard back from them. Closer to the date of the reservation I contacted them again, through email, and had no response. I then called, several times, and there was no answer. I wrote asking for a refund and, again, have not heard from them.

No internet, many rules but don't seem to be enforced. We bought a quiet generator for making coffee and electric heat and couldn't use it. Otherwise, it was the river by the tent site and quite beautiful. The store to get ice, wood and souvenirs doesn't open until 11. The Bear proof trash receptacles we were told to use were very difficult and full. Colby helped with one as I'm a senior and had trouble with that. Great price, free hot shower and bathroom respectable
