The Swift Family Reunion is held annually and for many years has been held at Surry. It is a welcoming place for all ages with swimming for the youngsters, horseshoes for the elders . We also bring our "corn hole" game for entertainment. Each year the site may be reserved by a different individual since the host/hostess changes each year. I'be reserved the past two years as others had difficulty doing so. We love it there and plan on continuing to use the Maple Pavilion in the future.

Held a bridal shower at the Aspen pavillion. It's a great spot with a beautiful view of the lake. You might even get an eagle fly over.

Like the facility, but no bathrooms this year…only a port-o-John and no trash bins.

With no employees on site we had to clean chalk off the tables and benches, if we didn’t we would have had chalk on our clothes.
The problem I have is I paid $80 for a roof, we did everthing including making sure it was cleaner when we left than when we arrived.

Surry Mountain Lake Beach is accessible via Route 12A, which connects to NH Route 101 approximately 10 miles to the north, providing access to major roads in the region.

Policies & Rules
General
- The operating hours for Surry Mountain Lake is Wednesday through Sunday. Mondays and Tuesdays will be designated as walk-in access only days. Please note that during these days, the park office and certain amenities may not be available; however, visitors are welcome to enjoy the parks and utilize the available facilities.
- The existing flush restrooms will not be open but there will be portable toilets located within the park for visitors to use. Existing shelter reservations made prior to April 14th will remain but we will not be taking any more shelter reservations for this season. Visitors are welcome to use the beach and boat ramp, to picnic and enjoy the area. Dogs are permitted on leash, except on beach area.
- Surry Mountain Lake is a day-use area. NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING Carry in, carry out trash.
- There are no life guards; it is a swim at your own risk facility.
- Motorboats are allowed (no wake).
- Surry Mountain is a flood control facility and the park may be flooded during severe storm events.
- Beach advisories may be posted at any time due to water quality issues.

- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- No commercial activities, sales or solicitation of business on USACE land.
- Shelter reservations and or group events that bring in hired food trucks or vendors, large event tents (greater than 12’x12’), bounce houses, and any other atypical items are required to apply for a special use permit by calling the main office at 603-352-4130. Please inquire if you are unsure.
