Many guests enjoyed the beautiful nature surrounding the campground, with various activities and events available, particularly at the Lakeside area. It’s a nice place, but my family and I had a terrible experience—I’d say it was the worst 4th of July ever. I feel like I let my family down by bringing them here, only for us to be treated with contempt just because we’re Hispanic; people kept pointing at us throughout our time there, and they even applauded when we left.
We are human beings, too, and we deserve to enjoy ourselves, because we pay the same money as anyone else

From the moment I arrived, I knew this was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to find.

I stayed in one of the cabins and absolutely loved it! It was cozy, comfortable, and incredibly clean, which is a huge deal for me!

The staff were amazing, and Katie was especially so sweet and welcoming. She made me feel safe and right at home from the start. As a solo female traveler, that feeling is really important to me, and this ended up being such a great stop. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time staying and we will definitely be back! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and on some of the days there were even little events for the guests to participate it! Such a great way to get out of the city for a few days!

Good morning Campers. I would like to offer an honest review of our recent stay at Hunter's Run RV Park (a Modern America Campground) in Meredith NH.

Never been and based on reviews, social media and website, looked like it was a decent campground, so we booked Memorial Day Weekend this year. Travel trailer, 2 adults, a teen and a dog.

They have 2 sides of the campground split by major route 104 - the Hillside and the Lakeside. They also have 2 offices, one for each side as well.

We were given a spot on the Hillside. Very quiet and many seasonals. Nothing wrong with quiet but if your looking for that community campground feel choose the Lakeside if asked.

Very buggy - yes it's the woods. This is to to make you aware, that you might want to bring a screen tent.

The Hillside was acquired a couple of years ago and rundown. Very few changes made. They had showers, restrooms and laundry on our side. The bathrooms and showers can use an upgrade

We also had a basketball court, gaga ball pit, horseshoes, and dog park. These were not used as everyone went to the lakeside to do anything.

The Hillside has an indoor pool and hot tub but are not available. This is not mentioned until you sign in. They are hoping for mid summer however it looks like it may not be done. They have swimming at the lake.

Not many activities going on especially for the major holiday weekend. They had a food truck, an acoustic duo and tie-dye.
The game room is a pool table and air hockey inside the Lakeside store.

They have a pavilion with foam axe throwing and a basketball hoop game.

I believe they do this because they want to assume most people are heading out to Meredith or Weirs Beach and not staying at the campground. However, activities go along way especially for little children and older adults without kids. I for one love my candy bingo or painting!!!!

I have attached pictures of the Hillside. All pics on social media and website are from the Lakeside.

This will probably not make my list of campgrounds just yet. They need to do more updates.

I am not for one who goes to campground resorts. They are fun but can be much and pack you in. Not asking for much, just a few more offerings.
