I have to give 4 stars instead of 5. I am going to highlight the reason why first and then go to how my experience did change for the better. I originally rented a cabin and unfortunately it did have quite the odor. I don't necessarily think it was the staff's fault, but the scent of what I believed to be urine and cleaning products was so heavy I could not stay in the cabin. It was a pet friendly cabin, so I suspect perhaps the people before me weren't the most cleanly.

However, when we called down to the office the staff came quickly and addressed the situation and offered a solution. I was moved to a VERY nice RV and was provided a free golf cart for the trouble. The staff was SO nice about the situation and their customer service was excellent. My RV was modern and since I've never stayed in one before the staff showed me how to operate the a.c. and the toilet and I had a great stay. The bed was actually quite comfortable and it felt so good that my dogs were welcome.

There were lots of activities and kids there seemed to be having an absolute blast. The golf carts are definitely worth the price, especially if you have family/friends elsewhere in the park. Their camp store had absolutely everything you could possibly need and I didn't feel upcharged for items. I will be booking again next year ❤️

I really had a hard time even giving this place 2 stars. Only good thing about this place was they kept the bathrooms clean and really left everyone alone. Otherwise the pools really need help, they keep the pools so cold that it’s really impossible to even get a swim in for anybody especially the little ones. The campsite is not really as shown on the map and was very small to accommodate all the guests that were alllowed on the site. If the place knows that their sites are small you should have a limit to how many guests per site. The sites were also very stumpy, so close to the road( not shown on map) some employees were very rude and the jump house and jump water slide were extremely dirty and not well monitored by staff leaving kids to do whatever they wanted. Which was very unsafe. The fishing area is extremely small, and can’t really even access. They say quiet hours run from 11-9 but because no staff checks guests did what they please whenever they pleased, so if you’re traveling with kids just know it’s very noisy at all hours and fires do not go out! Worst part was the pools they constantly fill them up which makes it hard for them to warm up. If you like swimming in the ocean with freezing water temperatures and not sleeping this place is for you.
I checked out early due to all these problems.

Just got back from our mini camping vacation. We all had a blast. I highly recommend adventure bound in New Hampton. I travelled with four children ages 2-12 and they all had a great time. The staff were amazing! The only thing we were a little bummed out about is how early the store, bounce house, blow up waterslides, and arcade closed. Also the pools were a tad cold and the train only runs once a day. Next time we will try going for the weekend as I believe they host events and everything is open a little later. We will definitely be returning customers.

Our first time going to Adventure Bound and we cannot recommend it enough!
We brought our 2 kids & nephew for the weekend (Friday-Monday), it was about an 1hr 48m drive from York, Maine, and stayed in the Deluxe Cabin (182). Checking in was smooth and stress free. We got the keys and started unpacking.
After we got done unpacking, we got on our bathing suits and headed to the pool/splash pad. Our daughter (2) LOVED the splash pad & it was absolutely amazing for her because she was able to do everything herself and the deepest it went was 2ft. It was safe & clean. Our son & nephew went to the pool, went down the water slide & they loved it. The pool was warmer than the splash pad so that was nice! They had train rides in the mornings & afternoons for anyone. There is a playground, valley ball court, basketball court, Gaga ball, lake beach area. It had absolutely everything we had been wanting in a family based campground. They even did events like a foam party, candy bingo, paint pouring, ceramics, music, etc.
We had such an amazing time & already can't wait to go back!

Decent place for kids, the staff is friendly however they seem to be short staffed and managing the place is a bit under par. If you stay here I highly suggest renting a camper or bringing your own. The bathrooms are pretty gross and the showers were worse. Stayed 4 days and the showers never were cleaned or the bathrooms. The pool area was ok no hot tub at all. The big water slide was closed two days we were there even though they told us it would open in an hour each day. That’s one reason why we came was the awesome waterslide feature. The store here has a lot and it’s not to pricey the train rides are fun for the kids though you get two rides on the weekends. It’s very loud at night up until 11pm. Probably will never come back if you are looking for a more peaceful campground with a pool and awesome beach I suggest Davidson family campground up the road.
