Plymouth Sands Campground

This campground is fantastic. Owners are super nice, beach is great. Not super big so great for kids to explore.

they offer firewood delivered directly to your campsite complete with a homemade fire starter. the camp office is equipped with a variety of books and games for your enjoyment and the beach offers a relaxing place to cool off after a long day.

First time here and we couldn’t have been happier. The owners are so nice and do not micro manage at all. They were very welcoming and available if needed. Campground is gated and they give you a pass to get in. Off the main road so you may hear traffic during the day but it’s super quiet at night. Close by to grocery store. The beach access was the highlight. The private access we had was amazing. The sand felt like it was imported from FL. We brought a canoe for the lazy river. They have horseshoes and a large bin full of play toys, bats, frisbee etc to use. Our site was spacious and private. Where we stayed a tree dropped purple berries and occasionally an acorn so you may want to expect acorns possibly hitting your car. Overall, our favorite campground!

What an amazing campground!
This was our first visit, and it was outstanding to say the least. The owners are incredible—hardworking, friendly, and genuinely committed to making your stay enjoyable. The lazy river and beach were a hit, especially with the kids. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!

Plymouth Sands campground was the perfect place for a last minute weekend getaway! Nick and Ashley were able to accommodate us with a same day reservation and were super helpful the whole stay. They even let us borrow their own doggie life jacket. The beach is beautiful and floating down the river is super fun! Can’t recommend enough!
