Just passing through but would definitely come back again! Beautiful campground. We had a camper but if you have a tent I would highly recommend staying up on the hillside, just beautiful! Kids loved the pool, playground and bouncy castle. We didn't have time to visit the basin but heard it's very pretty and only a short walk from the campground.

We spent two nights at White Birches Campground and had a wonderful time. Janet and her family are lovely people who made us feel welcome. The sites are level, and all the utilities worked flawlessly. We hiked up the Basin Trail with our two pups who absolutely loved all the scents. The water falls are lovely and worth the walk. We highly recommend this campground, and would book it again if we are in the area.

Beautiful place and so nice and quiet, the only thing was at night a tesla would keep driving around the campsite, I saw it like 5 times driving by every night. It might just be a patrol car, And tesla is a good choice for it since it’s so quiet 😆 But it did spook me a little. I would definitely go again.

Great campground with a ton of amenities, especially for kids. Big rig friendly sites available. Owners were very nice. I used the laundry, but never the public restrooms. Pool was clean, sites all had a picnic table and a fireplace. Ours was made of mountain rocks which was awesome. Great hiking trails out the backside of the campground. Minutes to the Mount Washington Auto Road and all the hiking trails you could desire. What we enjoyed most was waking up to the mountain views. Would recommend

Our stay at White Birches Campground was extremely disappointing. We arrived at 9:10 PM—well before their 9:30 PM check-in cutoff—with our 43 ft 5th wheel, which the owners were fully aware of. The pull-through site was unlit, tight, and poorly prepared. A picnic table had been placed too close to the entrance and was clipped during setup. A neighboring camper helped us move it and confirmed the site was difficult to navigate.
Shortly after unhooking, we had to rush our son to the ER for a hand injury. Our teen stayed behind to finish setup. The next morning, just after 8 AM, the owner, Bob, knocked loudly on our door and immediately accused us of trying to hide the table damage—despite the office being closed when it happened and our intention to report it. We had already repaired the table, yet Bob remained hostile and insisted we pay a $50 fee. He even approached our neighbors after we left for the day to "verify" our story—who told him exactly what we had already explained.
Later that day, my husband used his gate card to enter the campground with a friend visiting our site. After dropping her off, he left to run to the store—only to return and find his gate card had been disabled. He was locked out of the campground and unable to rejoin his family until our guest came down to register. Locking a paying guest out over an unregistered visitor and a $10 fee is not only excessive, it’s unprofessional and unacceptable.
Overall, we felt disrespected, micromanaged, and unwelcome. Based on both our experience and similar reviews, it’s clear non-seasonal or out-of-state guests are not treated equally. We will not return and do not recommend this campground.
