What Guests Are Saying
Tuxbury Pond Campground offers a great location near Salem and Portland, with friendly staff and cozy accommodations like the tiny house "MURPHY." While some visitors enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and seasonal activities, concerns were raised about rising fees, limited amenities, and maintenance issues, including cleanliness of bathrooms and pool access. Overall, the campground has potential but may not meet everyone's expectations, especially for families seeking activities for children.

My experience here has been great so far. We arrived here early and we were able to get in to our site. We have visited Salem and we are headed up to Portland today. The location to everything is worth the stay alone! We haven’t had any issues at our site. What I will say is, just be careful when coming down the roads to get here. They are not super wide.

Nice campground, full timers were friendly. They set up a haunted house for Halloween and trick or treating.

I've visited a seasonal friend several times over the last few years and the annual fee keeps going up, and what's provided by the campground keeps declining. There's virtually nothing offered in terms of amenities and activities.
If you have children and are looking for a campground to keep them busy, there's nothing to see here. Keep looking!

We loved the tiny house MURPHY! Was very nice , cozy and welcoming ! The staff from then moment we got into the campground were accommodating and friendly ! The store had a little bit of everything one could need ! We purchased marshmallows and fire sticks ! Would definitely return there if ever headed that way again !

You advertised on your website with a picture of a big pontoon boat but yet claimed there are no boats allowed on the water .......false advertising I would say. The public bathrooms are disgusting, half the campground smells like a sewer and the help is useless. The pool was closed due to high bacteria and the store is poorly supplied.
