We spent a weekend up here, and 2 of our friends joined us for the night. It was peaceful, and relaxing. The campground was well kept and beautiful, with updates being done by the owners to improve it even more. The owners themselves were wonderful to us, and even stopped by to see how everything was. We cannot wait to stay here again! Thank you for a great weekened!

We recently spent three nights tent camping at Foothills Family Campground (two adults, an infant, and our dog), and had a truly wonderful experience, especially as first-time tent campers. Going into it, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the warm and welcoming environment quickly put us at ease.
The owners, Laura and Pat, were incredibly kind and accommodating. Lauren personally helped us choose a tent site that was close to other campers so we wouldn’t feel too isolated, which made us feel much safer and more comfortable. The campsite itself was spacious, well-kept, and clean, providing plenty of room for our setup and some peace of mind when camping with a baby and a pet.
The campground is very well maintained, with clean restrooms and a family-friendly atmosphere. There are lots of amenities to enjoy, an outdoor pool, a small pond with free kayaks and paddle boats, a volleyball/badminton court, a playground for kids and a dog park. They also hosted fun community events like a decorated golf cart parade and a tie-dye activity, which added to the charm and made the experience feel more festive and engaging.
One downside to note is that our tent site are relatively close to the highway, so traffic noise was noticeable, especially at night. However, this didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.
Another plus is the location, it's conveniently close to restaurants, grocery stores, and other shops, which was really helpful with a little one in town.
All in all, Foothills Family Campground was a great introduction to tent camping for us. The friendly staff, clean facilities, and variety of activities made it a memorable and enjoyable trip. We’d definitely consider coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was a nice, quiet family campground. The owners were really sweet and helpful. We tent camped and the site was roomy and right on the river. The showers were clean and included in the price which you don’t always see! Best part was the resident beaver who swam right by us! Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at Foothills Family Campground! It must be early in the season - there were many open spots - and thanks to Laura for upgrading us to a nicer spot, free of charge!

The campgrounds are well-maintained and the power, water, sewer hookups were in good working order. Easy to back into our spot with a 22' travel trailer.

We had such a great time at Foothills! For a point of reference, we usually camp at state parks. We were having a tough time finding a place that could accommodate a large group (10 people). We found Foothills eventually and it was very easy to book. The person that helped us at the front desk was very polite and helpful. We got a serious warning about the bears in the area and were told that it was very important to put away food and take our trash to the dumpster every night.

We found the campsite to be clean, the existing tables and cover were in great shape. There was a portable bathroom by our site, and a standard bathroom with showers and flushing toilets were close to the main entrance. All facilities were clean and well maintained.

There were 3 dogs in our group and quite a few dogs within the camp ground. We did not have any issues with people, dogs or bears. Overall great experience and we will likely book again!
