We stayed at Lumen Cabin for two nights as a short getaway with our newborn and had an incredible experience. Everything was thoughtfully designed and very aesthetically pleasing. Our cabin was directly across from the bathrooms and showers, which were always very clean and well maintained.

The team was also great—very communicative and quick to share helpful recommendations for things to do nearby. We tried the brewery they suggested and loved it. We didn’t get a chance to use the sauna this time (newborn life!), but we’re already looking forward to coming back. I’ve already recommended Lumen Cabin to a few friends!

Lumen was absolutely beautiful! I booked it because I’d never stayed in a tiny home before. It was the perfect place for my husband and me to unwind and recharge after a long day of traveling. Even though it was just a day and we were super tired, we had a blast. I’d definitely want to come back for a longer stay so I can really enjoy the fire pit and the beautiful outdoor scenery. I was a bit worried about the lack of a bathroom, but I was fortunate enough to find one across the street, especially since I had to get up at 3 a.m. to use it. Thanks, Lumen! I’ll definitely add you to my list AGAIN places to visit from Mississippi.

We came here to celebrate our son's 16th birthday (his idea). Have not felt so rested in a really long time! Check-in/out process was easy breezy, as it was contactless, but responsive when needed. Absolutely love the ambiance of our cabin design - simple but very inviting. Our family of four slept soundly on their comfortable mattress.. once took an hour nap that felt like hours. We will definitely be back for a different season!

We loved our stay! It felt like Nordic camping in the best way! I wish we had stayed more than one night so we could have enjoyed the amenities more (fire pit and saunas). We are already talking about how we will need to come again in the summer! The host made a little guidebook of recommendations which was helpful to scroll through. The host was super responsive and the space was absolutely beautiful!

This was an amazing spot all in all. We've never been in a cabin like this before and the quick weekend trip was kinda spontaneously planned as well as coincidence being valentines day weekend. And all the simple, practical amenities that you can think of and then some, were all in place. Cabin was stunning and everything in the cabin was clean, and ready to go. Shower house/ bathroom were very clean too. You can tell the owner(s)/ employees take a lot of pride in this retreat. And I'd say everything, from the cabins, to additional packages and the camp store were very reasonably priced. We did have a technical issue with our door lock in the very early morning hours. Thankfully, we were able to text the number provided and someone was actually able to answer back to us to assit with getting back into our warm cabin as a fail safe was already in place in case anyone were to experience getting locked out regardless of the reason. I highly recommend for anyone to visit/ return to. We cant wait to be back again. Just a 10-12 minute drive from the icecastles/ "downtown" area and other various attractions.
