The hotel was a true African Safari view and huts that were comfortable and so relaxing. You could walk out of your room and watch the animals roaming from a safe distance of course or you could view from your room from an open window view and enjoy while drinking coffee. They also have balcony views. The food was delicious and made to order. You could eat in the restaurant or have the food delivered and set up in your room. We were able to get the VIP tour of the animals were we were safely up close and personal with tigers, loins, oh my. LOL! We were able to feed the giraffe. Then the shuttle took us down to Six Flags were we could enjoy the park with the worries of parking or driving. The tickets to the park were included in your stay. This place is such a hidden treasure located in New Jersey. I would absolutely stay again and look forward to future visits. In addition, the customer service from the staff is Top Tier. Highly recommend this place for the family, couples and even individuals.

Wildlife safari vibes! 🦓🦒
Spotted so many animals — some new, some familiar — and all looked super healthy! Loved the experience overall, though wish the ride had stopped for a bit at each spot for a quick view or briefing. No elephants this time, but the number of animals we saw made up for it! 🐅🌿

The safari itself is big enough, but the activities are pretty limited—just a few reptiles, two tortoises, some goats, and a couple of birds. The main highlight is the Off-Road Adventure guided tour, where you do get to see a lot of animals, but honestly it didn’t feel worth the $30 ticket plus $10 parking.
The ride lasts about 30–40 minutes, and if you go around noon, be prepared for a long wait in line.
Best tip: go early so you don’t waste time waiting. The safari alone isn’t worth the trip, but if you combine it with the other parks, it makes more sense and you’ll get a full day of fun.
Food inside is on the pricey side, so it’s good to plan ahead.

I used to go through the wild safari when I was a kid and I remember it being so much fun! At that time, they used to let you drive your own car through... Now they put you in a tour bus with no windows, which is pretty cool, it's like a big safari jeep - but there were definitely some things I was disappointed with. First, I couldn't understand what the tour guide was saying because his mic just sounded bad and he didn't make it fun for the kids. He was very monotoned and just matter of fact. Second, the bus never stopped! I had to keep telling my kids where to look and they missed half of the animals that we passed. I'm not sure why the driver doesn't at least just pause where the animals are. And third, I think it's a lot of money for just one ride. It does take about 45 minutes, but I feel with the amount of money spent, you should be able to go on again if wanted. All in all though, the kids had a fun time and it was a different experience for them.

Amazing beautiful place for all ages. The open truck ride was a fun experience in itself. The knowledgeable and clear tour guides made it much more enjoyable. But obviously the main attraction is the beautiful animals!!!! Seeing them all out and about in their habitats is truly remarkable. The whole time we couldn’t believe we were really still in Jackson, New Jersey. Highly recommended.
