As a mom of an eight month old, I don’t have the energy to write an extensive review but I’ll do my best to include key points. Overall, our experience was not how we expected. We originally arrived to an unclean cabin, see pictures, office proceeded to give me a $25 token to spend at the camp store and said that someone will clean it because no cabins were available to just move us to. So we waited the hour, we came back to a semi cleaned cabin still mold in the drawer still dirty dishes in the drawer, dirty sink, dirty bathtub, but the floors were definitely swept, and the aluminum foil was no longer on the smoke detector. On top of that, after we got settled and cleaned the cabin ourselves, the baby was ready for bedtime. We then realized there was no hot water. Service came after hours to tell us that they couldn’t fix the hot water that we would have to move cabins and that they had five available. The new one was originally what I was expecting walking in to a cabin for the weekend. Our whole entire first day was wasted on moving and cleaning cabins. We went about our next few days and I brought it up to the office multiple times about how disappointed I was wasting our entire first day. They proceeded to offer me with $100 back but I was fighting for the first day back since I spent about $1000 staying there. When we checked out, I asked again to make this right and help make me feel like they care but there was nothing they could do then offered to stay another night after we were checked out and had the car fully packed. After we left, I was emailed the rest of the money totaling one night back, which was great but I shouldn’t have fought as hard as I had to. They should’ve seen the situation at face value. Overall amenities are outdated. Great that they have golf cart rentals. people lighting off firecrackers multiple nights. Water smells like straight sulfur. Cabins were cabins. Definitely the worst campground I’ve ever stayed in & I’ve been a “glamper” for over 8 years.

We had a great time here! The staff were friendly and campground met out expectations. We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was better than we thought we'd be getting. Sure, the beds weren't high quality mattresses, but we had lights, a tv (which we didn't use) a mini fridge, and a little porch with 2 rocking chairs.
The kids loved the pool and water slides. The location was great, close to any of the shore points down here. We'll be back again for sure!

Overall the place is great! I love that sites are separated by a little fence and were clean at arrival! Staff was polite and helpful for all questions My kids and I had. My only complaint is the bath house. I agree with other reviews, it's not pretty. Even after cleaning they are old and dirty looking. The drains (showers) had gunk in it that were being cleared out. Update the bathrooms and it would be a perfect 5 star!

We’ve been so impressed with the positive changes at Adventure Bound Campground, and a huge part of that is thanks to Meagan. Her dedication and hard work have truly made a difference. She’s introduced so many fun new events and activities that keep families engaged all season long, and there’s always something exciting to look forward to. The campground has never looked better—the upkeep has been phenomenal, and it’s clear she takes pride in making sure everything is clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Meagan’s enthusiasm, organization, and commitment have created an amazing atmosphere that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend Adventure Bound to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly camping experience!

Staying at Adventure Bound in Cape May has probably been the best experience for myself and my family. We stayed at the Cabin Deluxe. Everything in the cabin was great, Great ac, cold/hot water, fully equipped kitchen, etc. The only minor issue we had was the water over flowing in the shower. Unfortunately there was an large amount of hair in the drain which we removed. Other than that, everything else was great. We will for sure come back next year.
