Belhaven Lake RV Resort represents the “Gold Standard” for RV Parks. The front office is run very professional. The ground crew does a great job of keeping things righteous throughout the park. If you are lucky enough to spend time there you will immediately notice the ultra-high level of customer service and attention to detail. The added benefit of having immediate access to LB’s Lunchbox is a HUGE bonus!! It should be noted, the ‘free wifi’ is terrible. You MUST buy a router and get your own network for even minimal functionality. The water quality is poor. Do not proceed without a robust filter set up. Seriously, the water was filled with sediment and turned everything brown.

Beautiful lake, wonderful people, plenty of activities, great café on the beach, snack shop and pool!

A nice private campground, however, management makes it difficult for residents with many silly rules. For instance, at $10,000 a year for rent, campers have to pay extra if they minor children that accompany them. The entire campground is under video surveillance that is regularly monitored. This should be a good thing for security and safety, However, management will scrutinize this footage to find reasons to fine their campers.

My family has been spending our summers at Belhaven Lake Campground for almost 30 years, and it never disappoints. The pool is always clean and perfect for a refreshing dip. There's always something to do, whether it's relaxing on the lake beach, fishing, playing bingo, or enjoying the live bands on weekends. The whole campground is spotless, which we really appreciate. The staff and fellow campers are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. It's the perfect spot for making summer memories and lifelong friends.
