Turkey Swamp Park

I spent some time at Turkey Swamp Park and it was a really relaxing experience. The trails wind through quiet woods with a lot of shade, which made the walk feel calm and a little more secluded compared to busier parks. The lake was the highlight for me. It’s peaceful with spots where you can pause and take in the view or snap some photos. I managed to get a few nice shots !! The park has a simple, natural vibe, nothing too flashy, which I actually liked—it felt like a good place to clear my head and just enjoy being outdoors. Overall, it was a low-key but rewarding walk, and I’d go back again for another quiet afternoon.

The beach was too windy so I went to the park. Nice shady paths and benches to relax in the sun. Bathroom and parking free.🌻

Get place to fish , caught a buggin’. They do kayak and boat rentals and also paddle boats too! Camp grounds , playground ! Cool little get away for the day of the weekend ! Definitely will be back for more fishing

This campground saved me by having availability at last minute. I don't know why though because it's such a great campground. Almost every site is a good site and pull through. Air conditioned bathrooms is nice. Such a quiet relaxing stay. Rented a canoe. Staff was great.

We had a medical emergency while here and the Rangers could not have been nicer to us. We also love this park. It's very beautiful the spaces are quite large. We're very appreciative of the support by your staff.
