This is an amazing place to bring or rent an RV and glamp on a beautiful lake in Sussex County The owner is the best and the people who camp are a great vibe. I highly recommend disconnecting and spending a summer weekend at Windy Acres!

Windy acres is a private seasonal campground with no tents allowed. Sites are paid for by the season and trailers are left over the winter. It is a family campground with no amenities except the lake, friendships, and close proximity to Newton, NJ. Most campers are either related are friends of other campers. There is a waiting list but vacancies are scarce. There are only 70 - 75 sites total and the lots are fairly large. Trailers are positioned parallel to the road or lake. It is usually quite and private. Many people have been at this campground for over 10 years and some well over 20 years.
