Sea Pirate Campground has been family owned and operated since 1970 when Ann and Bruce Benn took a leap of faith and purchased a 36 acre campground, nestled just 8 mi from beautiful Long Beach Island. It was tough going in the beginning, but Bruce saw a diamond in the rough. Ann and Bruce packed up their three children, Bobby, Patrick and Dave and left the comforts of their home to move to the little town of West Creek, New Jersey. They opened for the first camping season in 1970. The family lived in a popup while renovating the structure that they would soon call home. The store, office, and game room were all part of that building. The Benn family worked endlessly to make this small quaint campground into a new vacation spot for families who loved sun, sand, and the warmth of a campfire.Directions:

We have made a stay at Sea Pirate CG with our travel trailer our first and last trip of the season for a couple of years now. We enjoy the location, the staff is friendly and the grounds are always well kept. Sadly, when we stay its a tad too cold to us the beautiful pool and hot tub! But renting a golf cart is always on our agenda! And there's a great Mexican restaurant right outside the entrance! Thank you for a great stay! See you in the spring!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sea Pirate Campground! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. We were fortunate to have a site toward the back, which offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—exactly what we were looking for.The campground is also veteran-friendly, which adds to its charm and community spirit. We will definitely be back for another visit! Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

Sea Pirate Campground is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—everyone was so friendly and helpful. The campground itself is clean, well-maintained, and packed with activities to keep the whole family entertained.
There’s so much to do both on-site and in the surrounding area, which made every day exciting. Our two dogs had a blast exploring the campground, and our two-year-old couldn’t have been happier—especially during the trick-or-treating around the campground. It was such a fun and safe experience for the kids, and it really made our trip special.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, explore, and create memories. Sea Pirate Campground is definitely a spot we’ll be returning to again and again!

Probably one of the best rv resorts in New Jersey. Everything was extremely clean , easy to get to, and the staff was top notch. Plenty of activists during the day and they even text you 15 minutes prior to when each one begins. Best idol heated pool w an awesome
Slide. The sites were extremely level as well. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for a week and we loved it!! Staff was great, the amenities and events were great. Always something to do! Great pool area with a great store and food. The beach was 20 minutes away and lots of different places to eat. We will definitely be back!! A little bit of all of the good stuff you would want on a family vacation.
