What Guests Are Saying
Camp Wyanokie offers spacious campsites with good privacy, making it suitable for medium-sized families. The presence of picnic tables and fire pits enhances the camping experience, and the enforced quiet hours at 10 PM contribute to a peaceful atmosphere. However, the cleanliness of the latrine was a significant downside during the stay.

Camp Wyanokie is a nice place to go camping, we stayed at the southwest campsite 14. The campsites has plenty of space for a medium sized family, we set up 3 tents and there was probably enough space for another 3. There is a good amount of space/privacy between sites which is nice and I was really happy about the 10pm quiet hours. Unfortunately there was a campfire restriction when we went but we were able to make due without one. Each of the sites has a picnic table and a fire pit for your enjoyment. The one thing I will say the latrine was filthy and probably hadn't been cleaned in months.

Absolutely love this place. I came a few weekends ago and love it so we decided to do a family weekend this weekend and we had a blast. For the most part it’s quiet there’s some that do like to be loud but they respond and handle the situation professionally. I will definitely be coming back every weekend we get the chance. Everything was well maintained except 1 lean to at map #6 which was used as everyone’s bathroom assuming because it smelled bad and a really strong smell of urine. Those minor things mean nothing when you see how gorgeous it is. The hiking trails are easy scenic trails that you must hike if you come stay. Mike has been amazing and very helpful along with fast when it comes to pleasing the campers, making sure everyone is respected and making sure we’re all happy while we stay. They also sell bundles of wood and I will not buy from anyone else. I bought 5 bundles and it lasted from Friday to Sunday morning. You can’t beat it between hiking, fishing and just relaxing enjoying the amazing land and sounds this camp has it all in one place. Thank you so much for having us we’ve had a blast and look forward to coming back as much as we possibly can.

Campsite 2 was terrible and shouldn’t be an option to rent out. The only spot to put your tent is 2 feet away from community porta John.
People literally drove through our campsite with their cars in the middle of the night.
Site is not managed, maintained or policed well. Loud music could be heard through out the woods up to 3 am.
Garbage and safety hazards everywhere.
Other sites did look ok. Not campsite 2 tho!

Spent a lovely autumn night at the Southwest Campsite! It was clean and well-maintained. The site provided an ash can and shovel for the fire ring. We did see a black bear poking around a nearby campsite briefly after we arrived so be aware that they are in the area and pack out all trash and food when not in use. The website said that the sites were all booked for the weekend but we were alone in the area for the night apart from a group of folks by the lakeside - guessing some damp weather and drizzles scared a lot of people off. It’s a beautiful and quiet area with easy access to parking.

The location itself is lovely, but unfortunately the sites require a lot of cleanup to be usable. When we arrived to set up camp, we noticed the ground was covered in shattered glass. The glass carpeted the site itself, and the surrounding area, going right down to the trail. We checked a couple of other available sites and saw more shattered glass covering the ground, discarded opened tin cans and other garbage. One even had a toxic, half burned railroad tie.
As we were unable to stay due to safety concerns, I reached out to the site contact to advise accordingly. Once the camp contact was made aware of the situation, they were quick to process a refund and confirmed they will be visiting to clean up the site.
