View is beautiful. Staff very helpful. Area/restrooms very clean and campsites on top of each other. Cannot access lake from this site.

The views from this campground are glorious! It is beautiful...however...there are goathead thorns everywhere (if you don't know what these are, they are small multi-headed thorns that stick and stay) that will torture your pets and get between their paw pads. We would not come back with our pets again because of these thorns. If you have pets, we recommend you make sure they never go outside with out heavy duty booties on their feet. These thorns also stick in your shoes and we are still finding them in our truck and camper. OUCH!

Beautiful area with the Santa Fe forest and Echo Amphitheater close by. Lovely clean campground.

Lake Abiquiu is one of our favorite spots to camp in NM.. Spacious sites, endless view and the colors are spectacular. Ghost Ranch and the O'Keeffe tour are well worth the visit. Lunch at the Abiquiu in is quite nice for the only option in the area to get served food in a very rustic setting.
