One of the best things about this camp ground are the current camp hosts in site 8. They were here last year, too. They really are very helpful and make the rounds regularly. On a different note, I wish the powers that be would not allow generators. One generator, affects everyone around. Some are so loud you feel you are at a construction site. Really not cool as most people are there for the QUIET. I realize some generators are quieter than others.

This is one of our favorite places to be. The campground offers spacious sites with stunning views. All water sports are fully accessible there: fishing, kayaking, boating, SUP, on and on. In addition, there is hiking and trail biking within the park. Ghost Ranch with additional hiking and retreat activities is within minutes drive of the campground. The hosts are simply excellent and welcoming.

This is one of the most cleanest and well groomed and maintained camping grounds I’ve experienced in my 25 years of camping. Friendly camp ground management and very good at communicating with campers with reservations about changes and updates important to the camp site and visitors.

Beautiful views in a well maintained group shelter camp ground. The rangers really made the experience incredible. They were helpful on the phone before we arrived, welcoming at checkin, and responsive when there was a minor hiccup. Best rangers ever!
