Beautiful campground on a Reservoir in northern New Mexico. Met a great Army Corps of Engineers worker their name Brady. Very informative about the area.

One of the best things about this camp ground are the current camp hosts in site 8. They were here last year, too. They really are very helpful and make the rounds regularly. On a different note, I wish the powers that be would not allow generators. One generator, affects everyone around. Some are so loud you feel you are at a construction site. Really not cool as most people are there for the QUIET. I realize some generators are quieter than others.

We were in site 28 and have a 30 ft 5th wheel and the site was not level. We could not get our camper level. The site was long enough for our camper with room for slides on both sides of the camper. The campground was quiet and well maintained. The vaulted toilets and bath houses were clean and well maintained. Water was available very close to our site and there was a place to fill fresh water tanks. (June 2023) We loved the campground and enjoyed our stay.

i love this place, but it has become too popular, and over run with disrespectful people.

Beautiful and well appointed grounds. Well looked after by the Army Corps volunteers. Heavy law enforcement and ranger presence the weekend I went. As a solo traveler, would not book site 28 again because I was sandwiched tightly between several large groups and I could hear every word of every conversation all night. Not much for privacy.

Amazing campground!! Passed through with my son on a motorcycle trip. Last minute camp at 4pm. The camp hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The facilities were top notch for $12. Enjoyed a hot shower, fresh water, clean restrooms and a very large tent site. Can’t say enough good things about our time there!!
