This was our 2nd camping trip at Abiquiu and it has been a pleasure both times. The bathrooms are clean and the rangers and so nice. A lot of the spots have great views of the water.

I had an unforgettable amazing experience at camp Riana at Lake Abiquiu. The camp hosts were wonderful and the facilities are very clean. The scenery was very serene and spacious. I did hikings on a few trails, visited the Ghost Ranch and the Purple Lavender Farm. Overall, I highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking to get away from their busy life and enjoy the spacious atmosphere for contemplation and ignite their creativity.

We love Riana Campground at Abiquiu Lake in New Mexico. Hosts were helpful, our site #5 in the Pedernal Loop was easy to get in and out and the Lake was a huge plus! Even though it is hot in the high desert this time of year (mid June), it cooled off considerably in the night and was comfortable fishing off the boat docks in the mornings until close to noon. I caught a walleye, which we had for dinner. Yum!
My only complaint about the campground is that the women's bathroom was pretty much outdated. It has two showers, one handicap and the other very small. There is only one sink and it is in a very narrow space. My husband said the men's bathroom has been updated and is fresh and clean looking.
The campground has a new updated playground.
The lake and campground is near the famous Ghost Ranch and also Highway 84 going north has exceptional scenery. Beautiful mesas and rock formations along the way.
We can't wait to go back to Riana Campground.

Beautiful views and great access to Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch. Site #7 has the best views, but no shade and is windy.

Our 5th visit to the park. camp hosts, Cyndy & Al were friendly, professional and efficient. Campground was spotless, clean bathrooms, well managed grounds and excellent views of the lake and Cerro Pedernal.

I've been coming here for over 10 years and this place is always a splendor to experience. The lake, the sky, the sunsets, the views, and of course the Pedernal. The hosts are warm, friendly and professional. My campsite was clean, the restrooms were spotless and cleaned regularly. What I most appreciate is how the COE manages their campgrounds. Security patrols regularly, you never need to worry about those late-night drinking parties and other issues that other campgrounds are besieged with. The best campsites include both electric and non-electric and even walk-up tent sites. There are sites for every taste. I camped here right after the Memorial Day weekend and even though the campground was fairly full, it didn't feel that was as all was quiet. I will be back.
