Beautiful views at this campground in Georgia O'Keeffe country. Much nicer and cheaper than the campground at Ghost Ranch.

Well maintained and beautiful setting. This park was extremely clean and well designed. The camp hosts were some of the best we have had in any park.

Bill was so welcoming, even though we arrived at around 9:30pm. Bathrooms were clean and the place was very organized. Love the layout. Everyone gets a view.

It was fun. Park staff and rangers don’t have much ‘spunk’ or kindness but overall it was good. I think they take their job to seriously but hey- the grounds are kept up well. Also lots of screaming kids. Bathrooms are clean and it’s a friendly environment.

Camp host were exceptional! Very friendly and informative. Camp grounds in clean tidy conditions, trash was picked up everyday. Quiet and accommodated parking space in the overflow for our boat. Definitely will be coming back!

Well maintained campground but Verizon internet access was intermittent. Hope to return again next year.

Love this place! We first visited 31 years ago when it was a small primitive camp. The Army Corps of Engineers have developed it beautifully with much care and consideration. Plenty of space for everyone, nice group facilities, bridges, trails, and lake access. The only sad thing is how low the lakes are. But this one is quiet, peaceful, and serene with a spectacular landscape all around, including Georgia O’Keefe’s sacred pedernal. The camp hosts, Al and Cindy, were super friendly and helpful! The upper bathroom could use some TLC—new fixtures and cleaner. The lower bathroom appears to be slightly updated with operable shower fixtures. Would also appreciate soap in the bathrooms. Otherwise, perfect!
