What Guests Are Saying

Swan Bay Resort & Marina offers stunning views of the St. Lawrence River, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of activities for children. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, great amenities, and the enjoyable tiki bar for evening relaxation. However, some recent experiences have indicated a decline in event quality, particularly with the Halloween hayride, leading to disappointment for some families.

We been coming to this camp site for almost 6 years. loved it every time, Despite the cold and the wind in some cases. We always had a good time to haunted hayride have always been a staple in the experience with the kids and family, along with all the other activities.
However, the last 2 years I have watched. It become less about the fun and more about a quick cash grab. While I understand businesses need business. I cannot ignore what happened at the hayride last night.
For the price we paid for our site. we didn't even get to ride the hay ride because they closed it a half-hour earlier than advertised (9pm). With the last ride, not having any actors to do any scaring, it was just quite literally a ride.. When we express the problem, people came down in a golf cart in basically told us to get lost. I felt bad for the volunteers who had taken the brunt of complaints And all the people coming down 15 minutes before 9 still expecting there to be a ride.
While the sites are good and camping was great the Halloween event this year was not worth the time wasted in the cold with our disappointed children.

We've visited Swan Bay in the past as guests but this was our first actual stay at the resort. We rented the Heart House for the Spooktacular weekend and the location was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better view of the St. Lawrence River. The house itself was amazing. It was furnished with everything we needed. The couch pulled out for our kids to sleep on and there was still plenty of room to maneuver around on the other side of the dining/kitchen area. The Tiki Bar and swimming pool are located across from the Heart House. Staff were all very friendly and helpful with any questions we had prior to arrival and while on site. We'll be back to stay for sure!

We stayed 6 nights with the Tiffin Rally. Site 342, quiet location by the woods, partial water view. The grounds and buildings were immaculate. Our pup loved the dog park and the long walks to and from. Would absolutely love to be here in warm weather to enjoy the water and pool. We hiked the nature trail and the convenience to grocery store was phenomenal. We have been RVing since 2013 and would rate this resort in our top 5 easily.

Thanks Swan Bay Resort! We had a fantastic week at this upscale campground during the Tiffin Owner's Club rally. We were lucky enough to be parked in a water view site with a perfect view of the enormous tankers passing by on the St. Lawrence River, and all of the amazing wildlife. You won't be disappointed with all of the great amenities at this resort...and the staff couldn't have been nicer! Can't wait to return!

This campground is absolutely stunning! Nestled right along the river in the Thousand Islands, it has everything you could want for the perfect getaway. The campsites are spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, many with gorgeous views right on the water.

One of the highlights is the tiki bar, such a fun spot to relax in the evenings with a drink while enjoying the sunset over the river. The atmosphere is lively but still family-friendly, which is a rare and wonderful balance.

There are plenty of activities for kids, from organized games to safe areas where they can explore and play. It made our stay stress-free knowing the kids were entertained and having a blast.

Between the breathtaking views, friendly staff, and all the amenities, this is hands-down one of the best campgrounds we’ve ever visited. We’ll definitely be coming back year after year!
