We're trailer people after 2 visits we took a seasonal site for 2026. James and Travis take great pride in their campgrounds which you can see and feel the minute you set up. Big Lodge with bath house complete with private bathrooms and then there's the beautiful landscape and Nature. Clean, clear and just beautiful. Lots of hicking trails and awesome campers (seasonals and vacation, weekend, sites). Take a look at this place for an afternoon or days, beautiful and relaxing

Live bedbug crawling across the bed in the Oneida cabin. Many dead bedbugs under and on the couch. Mouse droppings on the bed.
So after driving 2 hours there, staying for 2 hours, and packing up, I had to drive another 2 hours at midnight back home and immediately strip and sanitize all of my clothes to avoid contaminating my entire house. If you've ever dealt with bedbugs in your home, you'd understand that it is an absolute nightmare.
I initially posted this review after immediately packing and leaving on the first of several pre-paid, pre-booked nights, purchased for over $1000. Then the owner was upset at my initial review and threatened to not give me a refund until I remove it. I waited until my refund was posted, and here I am again. Absolutely disgusting that such a major health hazard would be allowed to propogate, and not only that, but thrive, considering the abundance of refuse and corpses I found under the couch. The cabin allegedly hadn't been used for a month prior, if I recall correctly, which means it wasn't cleaned at all in that time.
This is beyond just the rough camping the owner likes to spout off about when people note the disgusting state of these cabins- bedbugs don't just hang out in the wilderness in New York State, nor anywhere on earth, for that matter. They're a parasite that needs repeated human contact to survive, and that's what this place offers, because the owners do not clean this filthy heap. I don't know if it's a matter of ignorance, or just a complete lack of care.
If you don't want to spend hundreds or thousands on bedbug remediation for your home after you stay here and bring the bedbugs back home with you, absolutely do not risk it. You would legitimately be better off sleeping in the woods in a sleeping bag. Not to mention that the owner will fight with you over getting your money back and threatened to withhold it because you dare speak up about it.
Don't stay here. And, to the owner, please relinquish management to somebody who knows what they're doing.

Super quaint and quiet campground that was perfect for a weekend tent camp. The tent sites have water hookups, are nicely shaded and sit along side a creek. You park at the end of a foot bridge and walk across to get to the sites, a nice feature and makes more added space on the actual site. We didn’t have any neighbors although the sites are spacious enough and not on top of one another. I loved that the tents sites weren’t just a patch of grass in a field and they are very well maintained. The owners of the campground are very attentive and welcoming. They delivered firewood directly to our site and would stop and say hello and check in on us throughout our stay. The bathrooms were very clean and I enjoyed that each shower had its own space with a toilet and sink included. There are porta potty’s located throughout the campground which was nice as the bath houses are not super close to the tent sites. Would definitely recommend this campground and will absolutely be back in the future!

Drove roughly 30 hours, arrived around 7PM and wasn't able to fully check in due to cabin still needing to be cleaned, after able to actually check in to cabin, stay was pleasant, peaceful and quiet, No Service except for at the top near the office, pretty buggy, I was informed that they are under new management which is fine, hopefully they are able to work out some miscommunication kinks as they have rhe potential to be a fantastic campsite in the future, with some minor upgrades. I will say, the owner or the owners dad can be pretty argumentative over a bucket of dead mice left in a cabin, because who wants to sleep with that? Not me personally.
