Older campgrounds founded in the early 1930s. Camp owners are more than helpful

The park is mainly for seasonal clientele, but they are more than happy to fit in travelers if sites are available. Much work has been done to address the negative issues mentioned in the very old reviews. These issues are not a problem now. Owners really seem to care about their guests. Some people are never satisfied.
The Park has easy access to the western side of the Berkshires, Albany, and Troy, NY. They are "Big Rig" friendly, pull-through, full-hookup sites. Enjoyed our stay here for 5 days. These sites have easy access to four private individual shower/bathroom areas, with one being an extremely well-thought-out handicapped-accessible area with a roll-in shower.
There are lots of things to see and do in the Albany-Troy area. This is a great area for antique shopping and hiking.
A nice and quiet campground, water pressure is average for the New England area, it's there... but you're not going to blow out any fittings.
They have a nice covered common area with a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, sink, Webber, and a couple of Blackstone grills. The pool was crystal clear and inviting. It is also KID-FRIENDLY.
A 35-Amp site is currently $45, and a 50-Amp site is $55 per night,

Overall it is a nice quiet campground. Lot is grass & dirt, somewhat level, had to use a block. Bathrooms are Not cleaned daily, no paper towels, no handsoap and the exhaust fans are so caked with dust, they're a fire hazard just waiting to happen. It's a shame because I would have given this place a 5 star had they maintained the bathrooms properly and had the office open daily, at least for a few hours.

Great staff, well kept, pool/bathrooms/lawn are all clean. Have stayed multiple times and will do so again!

Great, Camping Area Lil out in the woods we like. Ron and Sherry took good care of you. The pool is not heated so if you go late in the year it will be cold. New bathroom and laundry area.
