What Guests Are Saying

Kittatinny's K-Camp Campground offers a beautiful setting and friendly staff, with some visitors praising the helpfulness of employees like Hailey and Kaitlyn, and the well-stocked cabins. However, there are significant concerns regarding bathroom cleanliness and noise levels, especially during the night, which detracts from the overall experience. While some long-term guests have expressed disappointment with management and rule enforcement, others continue to enjoy their stays and appreciate the campground's atmosphere.

I’ve been camping here for 10 years now and my husband has been camping here since he was a kid. Over the years things have changed quite dramatically for the worse. Unfortunately this past weekend will have to be our last camping trip here. The staff is very nice here and this review has more to do with the ownership of this campground. 10 years ago at night there would be staff members driving around checking on campsites and making sure music wasn’t too loud and making sure no funny business was going on. The past 3 years here there has been none of that. They even got rid of their security booth at the entrance! There is a list of rules given to you at check in and NONE are enforced. That is a serious safety issue especially considering that most camp sites look like they have way more people than what the allowed amount is. The bathrooms are absolutely horrifying, I cannot go into detail but it is a health hazard going into them, they seem to only be cleaned once a day. By evening time, the trash in the stalls was overflowing with toilet paper covered in feces, and other bodily fluids (use your imagination) we chose to stay at the secluded sites and there was a party going on all around us that lasted from 8:00pm to 4:00am. No one came to shut it down, we just had to listen to it all night. I live in NYC and the street I live on is more peaceful than this place. Not to mention the party of young adults across from us inhaling nitrous oxide balloons all night. This place has disappointed me beyond words. This place is so horrible even the raccoons don’t come around anymore. They should be shut down on the crimes they commit on the environment at this point. Oh, and it’s a TOTAL ripoff price wise, just save your money and go elsewhere. This place caters to their degenerate customers only.

Bathrooms were extremely dirty (trash wasn't taken out frequently enough and toilets clogged and/or flooding). By the end of the first night only 1 out of 4 stalls was usable.

Tent sites close together and quiet time is not respected. Many sites were very loud well past midnight. Loud music all night keeps families awake and unable to hear the sounds of nature.

My family and I stayed at Kittatinny K-Camp over Mother's Day weekend, and we had a wonderful experience. We gave it five stars across the board.

The cabins were well priced, clean, and stocked with just about everything you could need, including pots, plates, brand-new sponges, dish soap, and pillows. The only things not provided were bed sheets, towels, and hand soap for the bathroom, so be sure to bring those. Honestly, it felt much closer to an Airbnb experience than a traditional campground cabin.

The highlight of our trip was the camp store staff, Hailey and Kaitlyn. They were incredibly helpful, had great energy, and made everyone feel welcome throughout our stay.

As a thoughtful touch, the camp gave all the mothers cute teddy bears for Mother's Day, which was very sweet and appreciated.

Overall, we had a fantastic time, would absolutely recommend Kittatinny K-Camp to others, and would happily stay there again.

My family has been coming to these camping grounds for years and now my dad stays there for the season, we recently went for Memorial Day weekend and everyone there was so sweet and helpful, especially knowing that my dad is there alone it helps to know that the staff there looks out for the people stay there. The space is big and so beautiful to look and to walk and to disconnect for a bit. I want to thank Kayla, Hailey and Angie and Debbie and The guys (I’m sorry I’m trying to remember everyone) and everyone that’s there and how special they made us and my dad feel and knowing they look out for my dad while he’s there alone. It helps us feel relieved. It’s an amazing place for family and friends.

We’ve been coming here for over 6 years and the property itself is beautiful. The outdoor showers were a nice touch and the grounds are well maintained overall.

That said, the indoor bathrooms and showers definitely need better cleaning and upkeep.

Unfortunately, this visit was also overshadowed by an unpleasant experience with a new young female manager who seemed to be on a power trip. We informed her that we were running a little late checking out and would be leaving shortly. The campground was practically empty anyway, yet instead of handling the situation professionally, she went ahead and unauthorized charged my credit card for an additional day.

That was completely unacceptable and very disappointing, especially after being loyal guests for so many years.
