Policies & Rules

Arrival & departure

  • Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, with early or late requests subject to availability.
  • Contact the Campground for early arrival or late departure; exceeding check-out time may incur extra fees.
  • Notify the Camp Office for late check-out to avoid extra fees; return your key to the drop box upon departure.

General

  • Please review the following terms and conditions prior to making your reservation.

  • CAMP OWNED LODGING INFORMATION: Chambers Wesleyan Camp offers bedding at an
  • additional cost, for pricing and availability call the Camp Office at (607) 542-0992. Toiletries such as
  • shampoo, towels, etc. must be brought with you. These items are not provided. Cooking appliances
  • & heating units are not allowed in camp-owned buildings. Some buildings have A/C units, other
  • buildings do not have the capacity for an A/C unit. Tent Sites do not have running water or electricity,
  • these sites are totally primitive.
  • LOST PROPERTY: Lost items, and personal effects or goods left behind by a Camper, will be
  • stored for three months. If not claimed within that time items will be disposed of at the discretion of
  • the requests of the Camp staff. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the reservation and
  • NO DISCRIMINATION: It is the policy of the Chambers Wesleyan Camp not to discriminate on the
  • grounds of race, color, nationality, sex, age, ethnic origin, or disability. It is the responsibility of

  • DISABILITY POLICY: Please, call the office with specific disabilities to find the best
  • accommodations for your stay.

  • AVAILABILITY AND USE OF FACILITIES: Chambers Camp will do its best to ensure that all
  • facilities listed at the Campground will be available for use unless maintenance makes it impossible.
  • POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS: There must be adequate supervision. Children under 18 years of age
  • must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian. (an adult who is responsible for the
  • child and their behavior.) **You cannot drop your child off and leave even if there is another adult
  • present. Never swim alone. At least 2 adults, 18 years or older must be present. Whenever the swimming
  • facility is in use with at least one adult remaining on the pool deck. In an emergency call 911 immediately,
  • and notify camp staff and leaders as soon as possible. A telephone is located inside the cabinet in the
  • pump room. A list of other rules located in the pool area on the wall, must be followed at all times.
  • restrooms must be closed. When the pool is not in use, modest swimwear must be worn at all times
  • area. I agree to follow the above rules and regulations and understand that failure to do so will result
  • in loss of pool, privileges

  • CAMPGROUND EVENTS: At times Chambers Wesleyan Camp may host events that may be an
  • inconvenience or disturbance to other campers, requiring their understanding and cooperation.
  • LIABILITY: The Chambers Wesleyan Camp shall have no liability to the Camper and/or the
  • providers. Campers are encouraged to lock their rooms at all times when unattended. Chambers
  • Wesleyan Camp is not responsible for the theft of the campers personal belongings. Campers are
  • CANCELLATION BY CAMPGROUND: Chambers Wesleyan Camp shall be entitled to cancel any
  • terms of this agreement.
  • Please be advised that cancellations made up to 14 days before your scheduled stay with us will be processed
  • ● Partial cancellations

Cancellation policy

  • Reservations can be made online or by phone and require a deposit for confirmation.
  • Changes to reservations must be made by calling the Campground office; refer to the cancellation policy for details.
  • Cancellations up to 14 days prior are processed; those within 14 days incur a charge.
  • No refunds for no-shows or partial cancellations.

Deposit

Fees & deposits

  • Prices must be paid in full before departure, and deposits are required to secure reservations.
  • A $50 fee applies for unreturned keys.

Safety

Safety & rules

  • Campers are liable for any damage to Camp property caused by themselves or their guests.

  • The speed limit within the Campground is 5 MPH for safety.

Guests

  • damage they or their guests cause to Camp housing, furniture, equipment, and fire detection
