Adventure Bound Southwoods

Still my favorite place to camp. Close to home and feels like a getaway. Reasonable prices and lots to do with the kids plus two outdoor pools.

Best campground! Friendly staff, clean facilities and campground. Best, everyone observes quiet hours.

So i called to move my camping reservation last year to 2026 due to conflicting issues. We actually eloped to Nashville and did not have time to camp. Come this year I call to cancel as we are selling our camper and I am told my resevation is not refundable, what kind of robbery is this? Completely unacceptable as I am calling in June to cancel for columbus weekend in October! We have never been to this camp ground and now we probably never will. This has already left an awful impression and wish I never even booked this place to begin with.

We camped here for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff, and all of the activities! We have young kids so having something for them to do all weekend with scheduled activities was a huge bonus. We are in Clarence so having something a little closer to home is perfect. The store is very clean and has a lot of basics but there’s also a dollar general down the street. Sites have full hook up which saves a lot of time. Loved our time here and we will be back!! And the pool! 👏🏻

My dog and I camped here for 15 weeks this summer and we had a blast. The grounds were beautiful maintained, bath house was always clean, and the gate keeping out the riff raf made us feel safe. I even had an emergency while staying here and the staff helped ensure my dog was taken care of. Spaces are very large with room to move about without feeling like you’re on top of your neighbor. We would definitely stay here again.
