Kings Bay Campground

The prime location right on the shores of Lake Champlain is an obvious draw, easily earning a 5-star rating on its own. However, what truly sets Kings Bay Campground apart is the exceptional customer service.

When we arrived on June 13th, we asked to switch campsites. Because another option was available, the staff accommodated us without hesitation. The employee handling our check-in was wonderful—incredibly friendly, helpful, and he even moved the firepit and firewood to our new site for us. I also had the pleasure of meeting the general manager, who brought that same warmth and hospitality. He took the time to explain the recent renovations and shared some exciting future plans for the property. It is clear that the team genuinely cares about their work and is dedicated to keeping Kings Bay a premier destination.

On top of the great service, the restrooms and laundry facilities were modern and impeccably clean. The pool area looked pristine as well, though the weather kept us from using it this time. We will absolutely be back to enjoy both the pool and the beautiful lake!

Had the best time at Kings Bay Campground. We stayed in one of the cabins which has anything you'd need. Full kitchen with pots, pans and dishes, dishwasher. The beds are extremely comfortable and they provide all linens. The bathroom is spacious and recently updated. Guest laundry facilities are nice and the bath houses are newly renovated and clean. The common areas and pool are well maintained. The campground is in a great location. Very peaceful right on the water. Good proximity to restaurants and activities. Steve was super helpful and gave us great tips on places to check out during our stay. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed in the "Delux Cabin" at Kings Bay Happy Grounds campground. The host, "Steve," was super welcoming and it's obvious he cares about his guests. The Delux Cabin is a duplex and I would describe it more like a 2-bedroom condo inside than a typical campground cabin. It was newly remodeled with complete amenities provided. We cooked a steak dinner in the kitchen, enjoyed a spacious dining room table, the living room had a comfortable sofa looking out through a large wall window onto Lake Champlain. The bedrooms were comfortable, with good air-conditioning, and a spacious bath/shower. We didn't get to use the pool because it was raining when we arrived, but the pool looks very nice and private. Price chopper was only 7 minutes down the road when we decided to cook inside due to the rain. Wood and a nice firepit were provided had the sun been shining! We definitely recommend!

Last weekend we had a relaxing stay at Kings Bay Campground. We were met by the person in charge and they were very helpful with any questions we had. The park is beautiful sitting among trees and a view of Lake Champlain. The campground was clean with great showers. There were activities for the children such as a Christmas in July with games and presents. I would highly recommend this campground whether you have a camper, tent or use one of their cabins. You will enjoy the campfires, view of the lake and it has a great pool for children.

Spacious, well maintained, beautiful Campground. We spent a relaxing weekend by the water. Local manager Steve was very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed at the gate and he took us to our spot. Even helped us get in !

Shallow water bay with sand beach, nearby supermarket and diesel, 50Amp connection and good water pressure.
