Granite Hill Lodge & Campground

We stopped here on our bike tour down the Empire Trail. Perfect spot to tent with picnic tables, hot showers, and a quiet night! And make sure to go check out the lookout :)

Great stop for motorcycles especially pulling a camper easy drive on gravel once you enter the campground. Electric and freshwater at the site. Unlimited seasoned firewood at a very reasonable price. Exceptional showers which is a must riding the country on a motorcycle

This trip was our second time staying here. This campground is clean, quiet, has spacious sites with water and electricity, the best bathrooms that I've come across on many camping trips and the owners are nice and help when needed. There are 2 look outs to view from that have gorgeous views. I can't say enough positives about this campground. We will be back next year.

Fantastic place. So serene and peaceful. The owners, Kelly and Ryan, are super helpful and friendly. The shower block is clean and spacious, and there is a short walk on the property to the most stunning view. Also, the $10 flat fee for all the firewood you need for your stay is an absolute steal.

I camped here with my dog for two nights and had a great experience. The bathhouse was incredibly clean—definitely the cleanest bathroom I’ve encountered on a camping trip! A hot shower was available as well. You will hear train sounds from time to time, but it didn’t bother me at all. I needed help from the owner, and they resolved the issue immediately. Communication was excellent! The location is also fantastic, being only about 20 minutes from Lake George and Glens Falls. Highly recommend!
