Niagara Hartland RV Resort is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean environment, and friendly staff, particularly highlighting the efforts of Ms. Shirley and Chuck in organizing weekend activities. While some guests experienced concerns regarding safety and professionalism due to an incident with the owner, the overall atmosphere remains quiet and welcoming. Beautiful campground and amazing scenery . Everybody that works at the campground is very nice and helpful. Ms. Shirley and Chuck are amazing people that try hard to make this campground one of a kind campground with weekend activities thru the season .

I was a visitor to this RV park in December 2025, dropping off an Uber/Lyft rider, when a very concerning incident occurred. While driving inside the park, the owner followed my vehicle, blocked my exit with his own vehicle, and approached me to confront me about my speed.

The situation was made even more uncomfortable because the owner had noticed that I had entered the park the night before, apparently from his camera footage, which added to the feeling of being watched and intimidated.

I understand and respect posted park rules, but being followed, blocked, and monitored while completing a ride felt unsafe, especially as a visitor. There was no calm verbal warning beforehand — the situation escalated unnecessarily.

Should this happen again, or if others report experiencing the same behavior, I will be filing a police report for harassment under New York law.

I’m sharing this so others are aware. Safety and professionalism matter, and this experience fell far short of that standard.

UPDATE - and the owner’s response is clear admittance that he will stalk you to your destination and block your path so he can exit his vehicle and CONFRONT you. It was just that, confrontation. Big Brother mentality through and through.

A great affordable campground!

We used this as our stop before crossing the boarder and it was perfect. Camp sites were gorgeously tucked away in the bush with picnic table and fire pit. Facilities were clean and staff were super friendly! Camp was quiet, minus the rooster in the morning, but I didn’t mind him!

This is a pleasant enough place to stay. The facilities are dated but clean. The sites are easy to access and typical in term of lot size. Most of the sites are filled with long-term patrons so that during the week few people were around making for a quiet stay. However don't exept to be in the nicest part of the park as those cites are occupied by the "regulars". We'll probably not stay there again as it's about an hour drive to the falls and would like better amenities.
