Country Roads Campground

Brian and Kelly are very pleasant and helpful. This is a nice camping area, away from town life.We were there during the week while school was still in session, so no activities occurred.A nice quiet place to relax with the camper.

We had a great stay this past weekend at Country Roads Campground in Gilboa. It has been family owned and operated for 49 years, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating.

If you are looking for an escape from the Long Island craziness like we were, this is definitely the spot to check out. Everything was clean, the views were beautiful, and there was just the right balance of things to do and nothing to do at all.

We stayed in our own trailer and brought the kids and dog. We all loved the in-ground pool and hot tub, and the classic arcade was a great retro touch. There were some fun activities scheduled for the weekend which were great for all ages.

Crafts, Tug-O-War, a cornhole tournament and an all you can eat breakfast where Dads ate free for Fathers Day. We loved how it almost felt like going back in time, in the best way. Highly recommend!

My family and I had such an amazing time at the campground. They’re very tentative very well at responding to any request. It has beautiful grass scenery everywhere deep woods, camping and I just love every time I go there gonna head out on the Fourth of July weekend. Also see some awesome fireworks.

Family friendly campground, pool and hot tub were very relaxing! Friendly and helpful owners. Clean bathrooms and showers in addition to porta potties close to sites. A bit of a drive for any grocery stores or, take out food so as long as you pack well, should be fine! Children's play area outside, swingset, basketball, volleyball net, pavilion (showing an outdoor movie when we were there), events for holidays. Camp store with basics, ice. We really enjoyed our tent site tucked into the woods.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, people are so friendly and setting is incredibly peaceful. Our site was spacious and immaculate. The owners are on site and clearly take tremendous pride in the business. The local cidery was a bonus and we appreciated the owner’s recommendation.
