Great location! It’s hard or impossible to find another RV park as conveniently located in the NYC area! The prices are high though, so be prepared! The campground is a parking lot, so manage your expectations. My biggest complaint is the lack of dump stations at each location. They boast of 2 dump stations on site, but in reality when the one is used it pretty much blocks access to the second one. The place has decent security and feels quite safe. Now here’s a word to the wise: follow the welcome packet’s directions upon leaving. Your GPS can very quickly get yourself in trouble in this crazy city!

As someone who was apprehensive about the tent camping experience, allow me to break it down for you! Staying here at the tent sites was overall a very great experience. The location is fantastic, the area is safe, and it really is the best bang for your buck. The tent sites are definitely on the smaller side. Unless you have a small tent, there is no room to hang out in your plot. Fortunately there was only one other tent camper, so we were able to hang out on the empty lot next to us. Also BRING A HAMMER! You’ll need to stake your tent down because of the wind, and you won’t be able to press your stakes into the turf by hand. If you prefer shade in the morning, camp at site 6 or 7. If you prefer shade in the evening, camp at site 1 or 12. Because the sites are by the street, there is some light noise from cars and people but it didn’t bother us. My only noise complaint is the laundry machines squeaked badly when in use (and the facility was right next to our tent). One of my bigger concerns about tent camping was safety, but we had zero issues and felt safe the whole time. We had a lock on our tent for good measure, but there was a never a point were we felt unsafe. Overall a very fun experience with little complaints, we would absolutely tent camp again.

PS: it’s an urban setting, at night there are rats that scurried around the tent area. Keep your food in your car and your tent shut, they won’t bother you.

The only good thing about this is how close you are to the city. However, it's a 20-minute walk to the Jersey Subway. I thought it was closer than that.
It's just a parking lot with RV hookups. And so expensive. $187 a night. Feels like a lot for a parking lot.
Check out is at 11:00
It's an extra 40 bucks to stay until 4:00

⚠️ Predatory Booting Tactics — Extremely Questionable Practices

I had my car booted here, and the entire situation felt less like legitimate enforcement and more like a setup designed to extract money from drivers. The signage regarding parking rules and booting was not clearly visible or obvious before parking, which raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency.

When I returned, my car was already immobilized, and I was effectively forced to pay immediately to get it removed. There was no meaningful opportunity to resolve the situation or even verify whether the enforcement was reasonable.

it crosses the line into predatory and unethical behavior.

I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews. Yes, it's expensive and yes, it's basically a parking lot, but if you want to visit NYC in an RV it's perfect. The staff was very friendly and explained exactly how to get into and out of the city. It's a short walk to the Path station. The bathroom and showers were clean and nice. Laundry was about $5 per load to wash and dry. They had a free pool table in the laundry area. We had no issues with the water or electric hookup. I know some had issues with the refund policy. They don't fill up so just book close to when you'll be there. We booked about 3 days in advance. Make sure you sign the check out in the office when you leave.
