Ausable Chasm Campground

Love this campground! We live locally and this is now our go to campground when we just want to get away for a few days. It’s well maintained, clean, and the staff have always been nothing less than amazing. Some lots are grassy, a lot are sandy, but so far they have all been level. Easy to get to and always seems to be quiet! We will be back again for sure this season!

Great place a little bit expensive but completely worth it for how nice the bathrooms and shower were along with the nice pool that they had they also had laundry machines, but we did not use them The one issue that I did have is all the campsites are rather exposed. And you don’t really get much privacy at your campsite is incredibly close to the chasm a cool place to go hiking and do other things however, chasm is very expensive and staying here and going there might be a little too much for some but completely worth it would go again

Paid $110 by phone for a night in cabin 7. Staff was friendly, but no sheet, blankets, or pillows!?
I asked the staff for some and they said I could buy some, but they didn't supply them. It was in the fine print. I never had the opportunity to read the fine print, since I made the reservation and paid by phone.
The manager called me a few hours later, and explained that she usually charged an extra $10 for sheets, but couldn't provide a blanket or pillow!?
This is absurd for a tourist business that is charging $110/ nt. Cannot recommend. Cabins very small. Shared campground bathroom and shower. Cannot recommend.

Went with friends and their kids which is why I don't want to show my name since my friends have frequented this place. Unfortunately, I wish I could say it was a good experience. My children are supervised I guess you would think people living there would supervise their children. I wont be back not sure about my friend. So much for a great family experience. Campground itself was good with playground and pool.

Beautiful campground to stay at! Highly recommend this place for your family, 5mph is highly enforced which is very appreciated since I have a 3 year old riding his bike. Very peaceful place to camp. Although there was a disagreement between a camper and an employee of the campground, happened right next door to me and the camper was 100% in the wrong during the incident, the employee did an exceptional job deescalating the situation and did his job properly. I appreciate the employee from keeping it professional infront of my child. Highly recommend this campground to anyone!
