King Phillip's Campground

My family and I absolutely adore this campground! Just enough amenities to enjoy a good camping trip, extremely friendly and fun staff at the campground store, super easy check in, clean and well kept sites, beautiful tall trees that make you feel like you’re immersed in nature, and just a ten out of ten. Every time we stay here, my daughter is in tears to have to leave. If you are looking for a campground that is affordable, not bougie with a bunch of miserable people, well kept, and ease of access…this is your place! Not to mention, it is less than a mile from the heart of Lake George so private enough but close enough to everything. Thank you King Phillips for another great memory!

King Philip’s Campground is one of our favorite annual camping destinations. It is conveniently located a few minutes from town, the outlets and the Magic Forest which is great for families with young children. The bike trail is easily accessible from the campground entrance making quick trips into the village very easy! Their staff is extremely friendly, the wooded section of the campground is magical! Additionally, their house keeping staff is phenomenal! The facilities are always clean no matter what time of day it is. I highly recommend King Philip’s Campgrounds for your next Lake George vacation.

Wonderful KOA Campground located in Lake George just a short drive or bike ride to the lake.
Super clean bathrooms, shower room with ♿️ accessible shower located in the bathroom and a nice neat laundry room, for the kids there is a playground, outdoor pool an arcade.
Nice shaded camp sites, with a fire pit, a picnic table, water, sewer and electric hookups. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay again.
Our neighbors were super nice and brought their 2 dogs 🐕 and a cat.

Seems like a great spot. We've been here a few days and all the amenities are top notch. Pool is clean. Restrooms are clean. Grounds are kept up. And the staff are not only friendly but are very personable! Very convenient to the lake and shopping. Lost the star because some of the seasonal campsites look more like a trailer park than a campground while others took a very manicured approach to esthetics. Otherwise we do recommend it and will return again!

We had an amazing stay at this campground and couldn't be happier with our experience!

Our dogs were happy, the kids had an incredible time, and from check-in to departure, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire stay.

We did have one occasion where the showers only had cold water, but after letting the staff know, someone was there within minutes to fix the issue. We've stayed at other campgrounds where it took hours to get any kind of problem resolved, so we were very impressed by how quickly they responded.

The location is fantastic—just about 8 minutes from the lake, making it convenient while still offering a great camping atmosphere.

After staying at many campgrounds in the Lake George area, we can confidently say this is the one we would recommend. We will definitely be back, and next time we'll be bringing the entire family and our dogs again!
