Willowemoc Campground

Camped here for the first 2 weeks in June 2026. This is an older campground in need of some updating but the property is beautiful. Its primarily a seasonal campground with some fairly old campers on permanent sites but they do have sites for short stays too. The staff are awesome people and very friendly and personable.
I see this campground as a diamond in the rough. With a little updating this would become a destination campground for anyone wishing to camp in the Catskills.
I definitely will be staying here again!!!!!

I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences and thank the manager at Willowwemac camp grounds for a wonderful trip this summer. First I’d like to thank everyone involved from booking to making sure everything was going well at the site, The manager was amazing. You were extremely understanding and helpful even after I made mistakes in booking. The young people were preoccupied by fishing hiking and just enjoying the streams pool and the quiet. Evening were spent having great conversations and the parents felt it was an ideal place to simply have conversations. There is much more I can say, but I’d like to just thank you for a wonderful time. Hope to see you again!

Such a great campground + community. Jeanne and her son are so sweet and everyone here is really kind and friendly. We had one of the tent sites for a long weekend and it was great – secluded, lots of space, super clean bathrooms and a lot available at the main office in case you forgot essentials. We usually tent at state parks and this was such a better experience! We're definitely coming back and seriously considering their seasonal membership.

This is my husband‘s and I third year camping at Willowemoc, we love it! When we arrived three years ago, the community welcomed us right away. There’s fishing, swimming in the creek or the swimming pool, a game room for the kids, and basketball courts. There’s a little something for every mood. I personally enjoy the beautiful trails and the feeling I feel when surrounded by nature. We will continue camping here as long as we can.

We stayed in T06 wooded site. This site provided a very private feel. The campsite was well equipped with bathrooms in walking distance, showers near the vegetal store. There is a nice size pool, volley ball net. This place is a RV abd tent site. The tent sites are in a separate area which I liked.
Dispite what some other reviews mentioned about unmarked sites we did not have that experience. We arrived after closing in the dark abd were able to get to our site which was clearly marked.

My family, dogs and girls loved this place.

This place gave the perfect next step for my young girls to enjoy tent camping. All the convenience of a commercial place with the privacy of campgrounds in the sticks. Clean facilities. Don't hesitate you will not be disappointed.
