The Ridge Campground

This campground is very spacious and can accommodate both RVs and tents. It has plenty of amenities, including a clean indoor bathroom & showers, and a small camp store. Not very far from Letchworth State Park, about 15-20 minutes. It was also very quiet, which was a plus. The tent spots have a porta potty close to them, which was helpful!

We have camped at the Ridge more than once and generally have a great time. The campground itself has several playgrounds which are great for the kids, a pool and jump pad. However, we experienced an issue with one of the owners where they indicated that some of our talks about alcohol were not prohibited as this was a “family campground”. Besides the fact that we have been to the campground before and given alcoholic beverages by many seasonal campers, the owner never came to our campsite and discussed the issue. We were only pointed out to the fact that there was a problem when we went inside the store to purchase items and were talked to at that time about issues they had and not in a more appropriate setting when the incidents had occurred.
We enjoy the campground overall and it offers a variety of amenities that are great for kids.

One of the best campgrounds we have been. This place has the best views, excellent place for kids with lots of places to play and tons of weekend events. The site was spacious and had a nice level gravel spot for the camper and great grass everywhere else. Owners were a pleasure and had a great camp store with a little of everything useful for camping and kids. 10 minutes from amazing Letchworth state park. Dont pass this one by!

This campground was more than we expected for our little weekend stay. We were in the area to visit/ hike Letchworth State Park. This campgrounds had lots to offer for our 2 & 3 year old children. From the multiple playgrounds, to the jump pad, to the pool, our kiddos got their energy out & slept great. Our son was extremely over joyed by the hay wagon ride as well.

Great grounds, with beautiful views! The sites are large & spread out offering a decent amount of privacy. Easy in and out with travel trailers. We will definitely be reccomending this campground to all our camping friends & family!!!

We found The Ridge Campground while looking online for tent camping sites near Letchworth State Park. This was such a lucky find for us! This campground is close to several park entrances, and we also enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Perry. (For families, check out Charcoal Corral)
The grounds are incredibly well maintained with lots of recreation available for families. We really enjoyed the playgrounds, the pool, and the jump pad. The bath house was very clean and easily accessible. The camp store has the necessities we needed, a great variety of souvenirs, and toys and candy our kids loved browsing through. The hours of the store were very easy to plan for, including the weekend “cafe hours” which gave us a well appreciated (and affordable) pizza and wings dinner when we didn’t want to go anywhere.
What really set this campground apart are the hosts. Tina and Rick really put care and attention into this campground and it is evident. From the moment we checked in, Tina and Rick suggested a different site for us knowing we were coming with kids and a tent. The site they suggested worked so incredibly well for us. They paused what they were doing to help us in the store, even helping our son pick a toy. Tina and Rick are probably the most friendly business owners I have ever met and always seemed ready and willing to help answer questions, prepare goods, and keep everything running smoothly.
Thank you to an amazing stay. If we find ourselves that way again, we most certainly will stay again.
