Whispering Winds Campground

Was not impressed. Mainly because we had an issue with the campers next to us. Instead of them coming out and talking to us, they called campground management. When management showed up they immediately considered us guilty and we were treated as such. Very condescending and rude. I felt as though if you weren't a seasonal camper there, you weren't welcomed. I will not be going back. My children deserve better.

Great 4th of July weekend with a beautiful fire works display! The campground is not over crowded (safe and quiet), is well maintained and everyone who wants to have a safe and fun weekend will not be disappointed. The owners are kind enough to allow responsible adults to cruise the trails on carts and enjoy nature with friends.

I am sitting in the campground looking at the sewage treatment plant (not the owners fault), watching the guy in the campsite adjacent to me smoke a bong next to what appears to be his grandkids. Everyone is listening to Tom Petty that is playing 6 campsites down and watching the constant flow of golfcarts and UTV's headed to the "hiking trails" like it's Tug Hill.

It's 4th of July weekend on the 250th anniversary of our nation and this place should be packed. Well it's not.

I don't recommend staying here unless you need too.

This is my second time going to Whispering Winds campground. I've been to eight different places if you want the quaint little Campground experience. This is the place for you. They make you feel very friendly and welcome and all their activities they go out of your way to help you with anything you need the owners are very friendly. I found out they bought this place at auction a few years back . yes, there are other bigger Camp Grounds with more to offer but for the price which is very cheap it is that old time feeling of camping like it used to be. I am an older adult and just bought an RV and I will definitely come back here again. The sites are very well-maintained and every site has water, electric and sewer. They also have a very nice pool and rec room.

Had a great time at the haunted house! The workers were so friendly and loved my almost 3 year old nephew that was with our group. He was a chatterbox and they talked with him and said he was so cute. He wasn’t fazed at all but my 10 year old started crying at the chainsaws but afterwards he said how fun it was and said he was glad he got a little scared. A nice haunted house close to home and you could tell they put a lot of love and time into it. We had a group of 8 people and it went smoothly!
