Just came back from a relaxing and fun week at Cayuga Wine Trail Campground. This place is beautiful - the photos don't do it justice - and the location is perfect. The owners and staff were quite helpful and friendly. I stayed in a cabin, and was entirely content. Can't recommend this place highly enough. It's definitely the place to go. 30 min from Watkins Glen, or Seneca Lake, and within a mile of wineries galore. Convenient and terrific.

Mostly large, open field camping with very close proximity to other campers, unless permanent or cabins. Campground is split in half by a main road. There's a small pool and nothing else on site. Price seems unreasonable with no amenities. There are some wineries in the area, that's about the extent of it.

Had a medical emergency and needed to cancel and because I didn't cancel within 20 days they took half of my payment. This was on a holiday weekend and I gave two weeks notice. Not a care from them except I should have purchased the insurance on top of an already overpriced site.In my opinion they charge way too much for this campground, it's basically an open field. There are many nicer campgrounds on Seneca lake and I recommend not staying here.

Sadly, they have done away with the things that made Sneds great. Paid way more than Sneds for nearly $500 for 5 nights. For that you'd expect at least the same service. Game room was shut down which our daughter and friend loved. Pond had little to no fish. Also, when asking about WiFi and since our camper was at 87 which was right next to it, I was told they were having problems. Well, I'm a network engineer so decided to check for myself to see that the Cat6 line was cut and therefore, not even POE. It seems they had cut it. When you pay and get told there would be WiFi to see they probably cut the line, simply disappointing. I will miss Sneds, so many great memories there. Also, they are not keeping their shop stocked. Sad...so long.
